Ok slackjaws...

All you fuckers who "work" in offices and cubicles..

I know a lot of you, Red13Pa, DaveCP, RWF, NIG, and many more are watching the Dance on cbssports.com.

Have you all enjoyed your time "working?" Who here has used the "Boss Button?" Pretty cool. If you click on "boss button" as the boss strolls by, the screen reverts to some bullshit fake pie and bar graph page.

I remember the old Sierra PC games (Leisure Suit Larry, King's Quest, Space Quest, etc), had a boss button mode. Instant spreadsheet...classic. Didn't know what any of that meant as a pre-pubecent teen, but I get it now..certainly.

Nowadays with network security standards, and big brother software, employees are pretty much screwed. Based on casual internet usage, I've pretty much concluded my company has enough 'junk' on me to use against me, if they ever made a decision to emplore such means...

As a manager, with an onsite employee who sits directly in front of me, I see everything he's not doing...Kind of frustrating, however, he has delivered quite well on critical projects, so I walk a fine line of actually doing anything about it.

On the note of internet 'browsing', and casual email checking, I think they (corporate and management) really need to re-evaluate the availability of it...You can turn off Internet access altogether, pretty easily...Otherwise, it's a nice thing to have at bay, to keep your employees happy when there's no actual work (immediate or proactive) to be done...That's a trust issue I'm sure businesses, especially the big ones, are not exactly ready to engage in. Here's a simple fix for Joe Lackey, get a laptop, and a wireless internet card, and do all that shit on your personal laptop...Now if your employer frowns against this...they suck!

How about a giant FUCK YOU to Duke? I hope these elitist pricks go down. The country would celebrate.

Goddamned Belmont. Make it happen, I want to see Coach K cry like a bitch tonight.

10-4 on that...

Even though LSU sucks this year and didn't even make the tourny, it was a great victory for us a few years ago beating Duke and making JJ Reddick cry...

I totally forgot about the games until about two hours ago, so I didn't see any at work.

However, I will be watching tomorrow. However, since I take my laptop with me, I'll be watching the games on it while I'm doing actual work on my work machine.

Duke is a fraud. They blew out Belmont by a lone point.

They're toast.

I'm with you, Dave. I'm batting a thousand so far. I was gonna be really pissed if Duke blew it for me. I've got UCLA taking home the trophy this year. My daughter has even made up UCLA cheers...

Haha I used to intern for an IT department in the State of CA and we had to scroll through the list of all employee visited sites to make sure there was nothing illegal (or porn, I don't remember if they cared about that)... but actually, I had to do the Boss Button with my parents all through high school so I could pretend like I needed the computer for homework instead of chatting...

Also, I fondly remember 5 inch floppy disks. And I'm an advocate for bringing back the DOS terminal... computers are getting too easy for the lazy user these days. XD

Heh I was probably like 8, but we had a DOS computer and a bunch of "Donald Duck finds the alphabet" type games on big floppies that I wish I could still play for the lulz.

Hell I remember having to use a typewriter too!

DRAKE just lost in OT...CRAP. had it won, but too much time was left as they made their free throws.
Des Moines had a high and their heart broken in 5.7 seconds.... what a game!! WKU deserved to win.

That Boss Button is funnier than shit. I actually had one of my staff show that to me. I guess that shows what things are like in our workplace. We chuckled about what it would be like in a big office when a boss cruises through and sees 20 screens all with the same spreadsheet. WTF???

I was talking to an old guy at the poker table last night and he was talking about the button and couldn't figure what it was and how to get it off his screen. He felt like an idiot once I told him. That was funny, since it wasn't me as usual.

My bracket sucks. Go KU and KSU, even though I had USC to the Elite 8. Someone held the Mayo. Shit. Drake gone...shit. Gonzaga...shit... on and on shit shit shit.

In honour of Good Friday, I, yes I, am getting on my knees and praying that those fucking Catholics go down tomorrow. I hope and pray Wazzu can play like it did yesterday against Notre Dame tomorrow. The Coug guards are very good and ND doesn't match up well.

Anyway, if there truly is a God, he will be pulling for Wazzu tomorrow. I fucking hate Notre Dame..with a passion. As bad as USC. As bad as Duke. Not as bad as soccer tho. Fuck soccer.

Deano- Would you pray for Xavier Univ tomorrow at 5:40 on CBS. My oldest daughter graduated from there in the '80's. They are a smaller Univ and the # 3 seed. I know you will .

Consider it done. However, as much as I want the Musketeers to win(I hate the Big Ten and all 11 of their schools), Purdue presents a tough match up.

But, yeah, fuck it, I will send up a prayer now. You want an outright win or Xavier to cover?
