Even though Nosetradamus had a ton of influence on TBF, I must admit that I LOVE the artwork on that album. What he did to Frontiers was ridiculous, though. I still want to see what the album cover should have looked like.

The TBF artwork imo, even though bizarre by Jrny standars DOES seem to feature a good bit of imagary from the record itse1f, got the "aging chi1dren," the rain, the "treasures In the jars of cay fa11en down (the jugs w/ the scarab), and the who1e is1and scene itse1f seems to indicate Co1ors Of The Spirit...? Maybe? dunno

Maybe 'cause its simpler but I still prefer Mouse's stuff. Here's one he did for Day on the Green in 80

Related to this thread... this is the alternate/original artwork for Next, which is superior.

That's really nice. Best part is it doesn't even look that dated. I can see that being used today.

Is is me or is Wal-Mart cheezy. To me Wal-Mart sits between K-Mart and Target on the store scale. I would say a better store to have the music sold would be Best Buy now that Tower Records, Rainbow Records and The Wherehouse are down the road "out of business." I guess it's just me, but Wal-Mart sounds too much like a Wally World outfit in my opinion.

Why didn't they go with that NEXT artwork, instead of a picture of the fellas' ugly mugs?

Seriously though, that NEXT art is very "Journey."

The one on the right, w/out the eye and the triang1e though, is the disc deca1 on Time3 disc 1.

Good on Perry for that TBF cover (If he had the influence he was rumored to have had). TBF has absolutely beautiful cover art. Kind of like the way Lebowski's rug tied the room together in the movie The Big Lebowski, that awesome art on TBF really tied the album together. I see something new every time I look at that cover. Love it.
