BAT OUT OF HELL gets my vote as well. In fact, most all of Meat's epics are pretty cool (I really ig FOR CRYING OUT LOUD and OBJECTS IN THE REARVIEW MIRROR, to name two.)

I'd probably put COME SAIL AWAY on that list, and a little known tune by NEW ENGLAND called NOTHING TO FEAR. You should dig them up, Prog. I bet you'd like em...

Its great to find out i'm not the last Rainbow fan alive, the latter day stuff would appeal to a lot of folk on here if they heard it......

So many great songs were already mentioned here. I'm impressed at some of the pulls you guys posted. I'm even more impressed you had the time to list 'em! lol...

Rather than go into repetitive posting, I'm opting to toss one out that's more obscure, but pretty epic. In fact, most of their songs are. ProgRocker should really appreciate these guys as they're considered progressive rock:

Coincidently I am currently listening too the Magnum "Livin the dream" concert. If you've not got it then you should. 5 pound from Zavvi (Virgin) it was. Love Magnum! Seeing them in May!

Yeah, I think any Rainbow with Joe Lynn Turner would go over big with the Journey crowd.

Saga & Coney Hatch - Oh Canada! I loved Coney Hatch. When I saw April Wine a couple of years ago, Carl Dixon did a solo acoustic set to open for them - very talented & nice guy (I think he also played with April Wine during their set). Now I'm off to search for a Coney Hatch You-Tube :lol:
