I am a big hockey fan...I gotta give the Flames some love.....Al MacInnis was probably the best Blue ever......thanks to you guys and a barn on his dad's farm that I am sure has holes in it about the size of a puck.....Stone Cold- No AR here....although I see how I could be seen as a Strange Medicine.....both of those guys went way the fuck over the line with Wommers........hopefully they won't be seen again. I really appreciate the love from all of you checking in to welcome me also, for what its worth. I want to get a picture of me up for my av.....how in the hell do I go about doing that?
Hanson Brothers: Hey Coach!
Coach Dunlop: What are you boys doing?
Hanson Brothers: Putting on the foil; before every game; yeah, you want some?
Coach Dunlop: No.

Big ups to TRAGChick and Imageshack....FTW. Larry-I know, I know, I am really susie....I remember reading all of that daily hysteria around here.....people actually thought you were sus.....un-fuckin real....youd been established here for how long??!! Nice to see sheeple still don't think for themselves. I think "Susie" was really Irving Azoff testing us "fans" to see how receptive we were to people we didn't know....as if we ever had a choice in that when selecting a new lead singer....lmao! :P

Scott.....meet Scott...Great to meet you. Deano is probably busy TPing Coach K's House right now.....and on the phone with Shane Hnidy, begging him to bring his grit back to Anaheim.........He is soft on me also for one very simple reason, he smells the change coming.....he knows that I could own him if I chose to, lol. We are just alot alike, not to mention there are very few people who *know* hockey these days, he is one of them.

Welcome to Andrews Daycar.... I mean MelodicRock Messageboard. Straightjackets used to be necessary, but we got too many complaints from people having to type with a pencil in their mouth. We've loosened up since then

Welcome Scott!
I remember watching many a Blues game back in the mid-70's when NBC carried the games. Gary Unger kicked ass back then. Remember that cartoon puck they featured between periods, Peter Puck?...They also featured skills competitions between periods. I miss that shit.

My all-time favorite Blue was Rudy Poeschek...no brains and all fists.

All time great Blues?

Grant Fuhr, Pronger, McGinness, and fighter had to be Tony Twist. That guy broke people's teeth.

Oh and Brett Hull was pretty fuckin good too.

Took my kids on 5,000 mile long train/hockey tour, LA-Vancouver, Minneapolis, Chicago, and STL. Partied with Quenneville in the St Louis Marriot. Awesome. Dude broke out his Blues credit card, and we rang that fucker up.

Been to Keil Center and Checkerdome.

Hey Scott, used to work through Everett too. Ran the Empire Builser from Seattle to Spokane. Everett was our second stop after Edmonds.

I am huge Mariners fan. Oh I love Rainier Beer. Send me a case. Can't get it here.

Loved this when I read it. Patrick Roy ( pronounced llike you have poop in your mouth and you are trying to spit it out) has taught his son well.

Yeah...Al MacInnis won the hardest slapshot for years at the all-star competitions. Legendary slapshot. He could whack the biscuit over 100 mph without the luxury of using a composite stick.

Now Vancouver has Sami Salo, who they call "The Finnish McGinness." He can wire it 100.

 I spent 6 years in the US NAVY. It took me a number of years to quit using this term (and to quit using the head). Perhaps we should see if we can work this term into the common vocablulary of MR.

Wow..........damn Deano...you know way too many people...when can we party together....remember that being a sailor I can drink you uner the table anytime. And you can keep your stick on the rack where it belongs with the rest of the rookies.......

As far as Al MacInnis....I once watched him shatter Shitcago goalie Steve Passmore's glove hand.....stupid sieve...he actually thought he could harness the power of a Mac slapper....WRONG. Broke his whole hand and the puck still went out of the glove and in the net....beauty goal.

Brywool- Nice to see you are from Everett also....making plans for September I hope...I am trying to get a group together....let me know. There isn't anything to do here except go to Silvertips games (2 year Season Ticket Holder) anyways, so may as well catch a couple Journey shows....
