Too bad you didn't post this 3 years ago, when Steve Perry in his various sexy incarnations NEVER left my desktop, lol.

I have that same pic on my desktop at work. Even on the worst bullshit-spewing days, that pic slaps a smile on my face :D

No, I only wish I was that talented. For the first one, I just took a TSO wallpaper (the guitar portion is originally from the Savatage album cover for "From the Gutter to the Stage") and cropped it a bit and used it as the desktop wallpaper along with the standard XP Silver theme.

The second one is the Rush album cover for "Grace Under Pressure", again with the XP Silver theme.

LOL... that wasn't really my desktop. I just threw that together for the thread... haha! Once I posted it, I restored my actual background and scooted all my icons back over to it.

 You do have a point except when it comes to gaming. Mac's are a little more reliable, but not that much. They used to be way more reliable, but MS has made some huge strides in leveling the playing field. Apple better keep being inovative in the personal entertainment department, ie: ipod, because their computer devision is in serious trouble soon.

It's similar to the Betamax/VHS wars. Beta was better, but you could record up to 8 hours on a VHS tape.

Back right before OS X was released, my company bought a crap load of IMacs with OS 9. Without fail, everyone of them sucked. We had tons of problems with them, way more than any of the Windows machines we've had.

Not true. The Mac is gaining ground in the PC market. Because of the popularity if the iPod and iPhone mare and more people are switching all the time. They are still some of the best personal computers out there aside from gaming and have the most stable OS out there. The best part is you really don't have to worry about viruses.

I never have problems with my Mac. EVER!! I had to use a PC at work for a short time and had virus after virus due to some idiot who used it before me and surfed porn. I finally made them take it away. It was a major pain in the butt. But then again I am used to computers that just work. ;) Creative people will keep the mac alive. It's not going anywhere.

If the Mac marketshare continues to grow, which I hope it does because it will force Microsoft to make a better machine, you will start to see more viruses for Macs. More exposure will mean higher risk of someone actually wanting to make viruses for them.

I concur.
After my Expos jumped the border it's never been quite the same for me. Tried to adapt to the DC move, but found I didn't care anymore.
I've been in a few fantasy baseball leagues over the years for a little $, so I only root for certain players now.
Fuck those big market teams...Can't wait for a salary cap.

You don't have viruses because people write viruses to affect as many people as possible. If Mac had the lead in the market share, they'd need an antivirus.

Mac's had it's peaks and valleys, but they've never outsold even one individual pc maker. I still stand by what I said. If they don't stay on top with the personal entertainment field or find a niche somewhere else, when the ipod craze wears off, they'll be in big trouble.
