You may remember her from such films as "Pearl Harbor," "Underworld, "Click," and various others.

We should all be ok too with the room in the venues cause they won't be completely filled with enormously fat fuckin donut eating yanks.

I'm off to the Manchester show. Maybe one more depending what tickets are left next month.
You just described the Clearwater concert last tour at Ruth Eckert Hall...most hugely obese people....men and women, that I've seen gathered in one place.....was freakyWykkedSensation wrote:I'll be there.

.I didn't intend to come off as making fun of folks, I don't want to do that...just observed that so many were morbidly obese, not just overweight.....and it's not just those in Florida...everywhere you turn...it's a huge problem ( no pun intended). When folks get so large that they can't even sit in a seat comfortably anymore, then they have to make strides to do something to change....sure genetics play a role with some people but even then to get , not just a bit overweight, but obese..then they aren't doing anything to stem the tide. It's not about being skinny..too skinny is not good either for those that aren't naturally...so don't have to be skinny...or even expect to be as thin as they were when they were younger....it's just getting to a comfortable weight for height, age, and bone structure.....and to be healthy....a point where you have the energy to do stuff and feel good.FishinMagician wrote:Blueskies wrote:You just described the Clearwater concert last tour at Ruth Eckert Hall...most hugely obese people....men and women, that I've seen gathered in one place.....was freakyWykkedSensation wrote:I'll be there.

With so many folks being so large now....it has a lot to do with our food choices, amounts, the chemicals put in our foods, the time of day we eat and a lot, I believe, due to inactivity...folks need to get some willpower and discipline themselves to make changes...don't go for convience....and no fad diets, they don't work and are unhealthy....just need to choose what they eat more wisely, portion control, don't eat late when the calories won't be burned off , stop doing so many things that don't require any physical exertion all the time....pushing away from the computer and TV and moving around as well as pushing away from the table and stopping once full, not overly full.....by doing some type of sport, going to the gym, working around the house, in the garden, talking walks..or even dancing around the living room to some good tunes..something on a regular basis. We do many things that require us to sit, but we've got to make the time to move, also. They need to look at food as fuel and only take in the amount it takes to do the level of activities they are at....just like your car engine..you put fuel in and it gets burned the more you drive it, but if you don't go anywhere and it sits in the driveway...then the fuel level stays where it's at and is not burned off.

Good post, Dr. Phyll. The problem starts with kids. Parents are fucking lazy, plain and simple. When I was young you couldn't keep me in the house. I'd run around or ride my bike til it was time to come in. I was involved in every after-school activity imaginable. Now, these days, you can't get these little motherfuckers out of the house. The problem? Fucking video games and computers. Any parent that allows there kid to spend more than an hour, maybe 2 max, per day on a computer or playing these whacked out video games should be killed. I'm on the internet all day because I'm at work and getting paid to do so.![]()
