I have no interest in hearing about anything except for Steve Augeri and his new projects.
I am only interested in hearing OFFICIALLY when the Tall Stories cd is coming out, and when his solo cd is coming out and
if there are any plans for any dates in the US. firefest v is not an option.
I would also be interested in knowing OFFICIALLY if he realizes there are alot of people out here that supported him and still support him and his music and if he knows this and that we all did not hate or trashed him. I just want to know from
HIM if he knows these things and if he appreciates the support that people have and continue to give him that are
not part of, related to or are "in the know" or part of his inner circle that have "inside information" or part of fan;websites
etc that have information about his plans etc. that we do not have or hear about after they occur.
It would be nice to know if he appreciated the support that those not "close to him" have and continue to give him.

as far a Herbie Herbert I think it will be an interesting interview.

Who gives a flying fuck? You and fucking Steve Augeri. Christ. Lparn, you need to go find something in your life to take your small mind off Red Pants. SA is prolly embarrassed as all Hell by your retarded cheerleading. You have any idea how idifuckinotic you sound? This is an interview with Herbie Herbert. While he had/has a take on Augeri, no one really gives a shit what he did. Great, thanks, see ya.

Next?

here we go again. I am not entitled to my opinion again. what else is freaking new.
I do not look anymore ridiculous than the other "fans" on the internet and "fan" websites that post all the "information"
and details about the guy that they got from "inside information" etc. I asked a valid question about whether or not the guy knows and or appreciates the support of his fans other than these people "close to him".
I am not a "cheerleader" for the guy or any other artist, singer band etc. I have better things to do.
I am just tired of hearing bits and pieces of things from people "claiming" to know things for what ever reason,
and think something should be said OFFICIALLY, rather than in small increments and after the fact.
I could care less what journey does and for that matter I have a life and I am alittle tired of posting my opinion on the internet, and being called retarded etc.. If I am not allowed to have my own opinion or post it on a public forum,
what is the point of a board. I was not aware that I was not allowed to have my own opinion or
thoughts and to ask a valid question regarding a comment posted in the thread.
I am not going to agree with something just to join the crowd. as far as sa being "embaressed" by my "cheerleading"
I am sure the guy has plenty of things to do and could care less what I think or do.
My God! If people are happy with this line-up etc cool! I am not and unless I am breaking any rules, I do not see why I am not entitled to my opinion on the matter.

Thank You Rick, for your response. I appreciate it.
I think I can speak for some of SA's fans when I say it is frustrating not to hear anything
official, or about what he plans to do musically. The internet is full of so many websites
and posts about him and what he is doing etc. I know people are passionate about
this band and about him and about SP however it is easy to get sucked into
things and situations by people/fans claiming to know things and then finding out the hard way, things are not as they seem, and it is easy to get burnt. There are alot of people out there that do still support him,
and I was just asking if he knows and appreciates that those not "close to him" feel that way.
I did not mean to take anything away from Herbie Herbert as the man is a legend and rightfully so, and I agree there would have never been a Journey without his hard work.
My comments related to SA were in response to the posts asking if he was the interveiwee and his plans.
I just think it is frustrating not hearing officially about him, and sorting through the things on the internet,
as it can be a bit daunting at times and tiring to have to sort through these things. I too wish him all the best and
it would be nice to know he appreciates that. as was stated in the past, things said on the internet should be taken with a grain of salt. Some people mean well, however it is hard to tell sometimes and not too much fun when you wind up getting burnt.

I'm looking forward to anything Augeri records and might even see a show if that happens. Never got to see him with Journey. I thought I was going to see him in Dallas and wound up seeing JSS instead. I'm now a JSS fan also because of his involvement with Journey. Had never heard of either of them before that.

I am looking forward to what he records as well.
I did see him with Journey at the start of that tour, and did see JSS with them at the end of the tour.
while I was not crazy about SS I do think JSS is a very talented singer.
I did enjoy a couple of the songs on that cd.
will have to look into some of his solo cds. I recall he sang on the rockstar movie also.

wow. great job Andrew.

lots of technical stuff!! no clue about any of it here, but interesting none the less.

a few standouts for me, mainly ROR. he seemed surprised that we knew that ROR was a SP solo album. (let's get ready to rumble with my remark. bring it... )

interesting about Neal hearing Sammy. yes, Herbie, we know HSAS.

dead on about TBF not having any moments.

Dead on about SA being a great performer. if he didn't have the muscle to pull of the schedule, it is not really a personal failure, anymore that him having curly hair. just physical stuff.

as it is with JSS, i suppose. and Herbie did acknowledge the fact that Jeff saved that tour. admirably. he was vague about the reason for the switch to Arnel so maybe no one really knows. i mean, it was like there was something more to say but it wasn't said so there is a hole in that whole story. no news there---same hole in the JSS story as has always been there.

'move forward, don't look back' in regards to Arnel. he wanted them to move on without SP long before they did so maybe that is why he is onboard with the new lineup.

interesting stuff about the branding and promotion. I think he is dead on with this WalMart thing. re-recording was prolly WM's idea to ensure the sale of the new stuff. it's just business I guess. everyone's gotta pay the light bill.

Lincoln Brewster blip. cool. saw him live 2 weeks ago. he's awesome. yes, I wore my FTLOSM shirt. duh. San Antonio FTLOSM was a fantastic show-it's too bad Herbie didn't see a good one.

'if ya don't use it you'll loose it' is probably the best assessment of the SP disappearing act. but then again I'm not sure it is necessary for SP to appear. (we just miss ya, SP!)

my $.02.

next?

that's more true than not. you're absolutely right. i bet i can guess what it is, just by looking at your avvie. I'm just still mad that Ross wasn't there with them when I got there. dang!! I've GOT to let that go and move forward!! it was 20 years ago for crying out loud!!!! :x :x

Not that he was audible in that album, heh.

Actually, I meant Jon as well. He had a big hand in songwriting that SP couldn't pull off on his own imo.

Congrats on the interview, Andrew
I think it went well.
I am glad for your sake it was on the phone
No spittle or halitosis could be blown...

Anyway, I think Herbie has mellowed a bit.
I think he still has his sharp edge
though it just doesn't cut as deep...
The man has been around the block
tied & fit to be tied he's earned his scars
for he knows in the biz you don't get anywhere
without cracking a few eggs...

Now scramble that man a great big western omelet
tie on a great big napkin & let him dive in as he's earned his breakfast!
