I always loved Rockin the World

Verse 1]
Singing out what I believe
Singing out for you
Never want to push you can't you see
We just want to spread the news
In a different way
Rock the world but rock it with the truth

[Bridge]
You want it
We got it
Rock that lifts you up it doesn't bring you down
Stand for it
Fight for it
We are...

[Chorus]
Rockin' the world for You, Holy One
Rockin' the world for You, and your son

[Verse 2]
If you want to rock the world
Come along with me
Spread the news to every boy and girl
Singing out what we believe
Singing out for truth
Opening our eyes so we can see

Awesome! That's my favorite Stryper album. Hope you like it. You've heard them before right?

Nope. This is a complete and total impulse thing. So many people whose musical taste and opinion that I respect, have mentioned their love and appreciation for Stryper. Something's telling me I need to check these guys out. 8)

I'm not sure what I call myself these days. I'm just an overanalytical guy that, when it all comes down to it, believes that there's a higher power, and that I believe in the miracle and love of Jesus. The rest of the details I'm just cloudy and confused about, I guess.

All For One

[Verse 1]
Take a look around, won't ya tell me what you see
Is there love to be found in this world's pain and misery?
Tell me, will it ever change?

[Chorus]
All for one and one for all
Isn't that the way that it should be
Will we ever change this world?
United we will stand up tall
United we will never fall
If it's all for one and one for all

[Verse 2]
Days are going by, its up to you to make a start
Before this world of ours turns to dust and falls apart
Right now I know we can make a change

[Chorus]
All for one and one for all
Isn't that the way that it should be
Will we ever save this world?
United we will stand up tall
United we will never fall
If it's all for one and one for all

[Repeat Chorus]

What's really fucked up are people who believe the Bible was written by God.

I'm not a "Christian", but I do believe in a higher power.

I don't believe the Bible is anything but manipulation and old wives tales.

Yeah, the Bible is one of the central points of my doubt... That and the various religious and churches that are out there, as well as the ongoing science vs. Bible battles...

I don't believe in any one side (Science vs. Bible) moreso than the other (like I do in politics sometimes).

Like I said before.. I believe in a God and in the miracles and love of Jesus.. but I'm not sure what else I believe in.

Believe

Look what we can do
When we get together
And give support
To those on the lines
It's our sons and daughters
Our sisters and brothers
Let's show them we cared
If they lived or died

[Chorus:]
In this land of freedom
There's riots in the streets
All in the name of peace
If we stand in unity
We'll win with dignity
Our strength has said it all
Pray and believe
The wars through the ages
Have taken so many lives
I think of their faces
And the fear in their eyes
With hearts made of courage
And souls filled with fire
Those who fight for their freedom
Let's lift their names higher

[Chorus]

Make You Mine

I need Your love, I wanna be close to You
I need Your touch, it makes me feel refined
I need Your heart, it warms me when I'm frozen through
But I walked away, left You to stay, with no explanation
Now I realize, my darkened skies, won't shine without Your light
Will You forgive me
Can You forget the old me
If You let me
I want to make You mine
I see Your face, and suddenly my heart stands still
And when You smile, I'm lost within Your perfect world
But I walked away, left You to stay, with no explanation
Now I realize, my darkened skies, won't shine without Your light
But I broke Your heart, right from the start, and it's killing me inside
I know I can be, the one You see, if I throw away my pride
Will You forgive me
Can You forget the old me
If You let me, I want to make You mine
I want to make You mine
I want to make You mine

[Repeat]

By the way, I was saved at age 19, saved from Catholic anarchy. I have drifted back toward that direction, but I have met a happy medium. l lurk here often, but since the religious theme was brought out, I thought, what the heck!

That's cool dude, at least you're open to possibilities. If you believe in Jesus, and that he died for your (and my) sins, then you are way ahead of the game. After that, it's all cloudy for me too!!

Not true, all the stuff that happened with Jesus was predicted earlier way before he was born, and it happened just like they said it would ,they even predicted "his ride" on a donkey. All the books in the bible line up with each other,he was right there at the beginning. {the word}

Petra-Just Reach Out

Sometimes the night seems to go on for days
When it's hard to see the light through the darkness and the haze
While the world around you makes you feel out of place
And the burdens that you carry are just too hard to face
Just reach out and He'll reach in
Take your broken heart and make it whole again
It don't matter who you are or where you've been
Just reach out and He'll reach in
Standing in a crowd but still all alone
Crying out for answers that nobody knows
Everybody's busy looking out for themselves
Is there anyone who really cares about anyone else?
You say you've walked ten thousand steps away
But don't know that it's only one step back
Because the One who hears you when you pray
Is the One who's there beside you
And He'll never walk away

Michael Sweet-

http://youtube.com/watch?v=z_bc3EXwfuQ

Michael and his family have continued to be an amazing testimony throughout his wife's continual battle with cancer and his daughter just had a health scare too. For where Michael's lyrics have helped lead me..plus the peace..please keep them in your prayers if you believe in prayer.

I just read a note that Michael's wife wrote as she continues her battle with cancer and what caught me..as I summarize a brief part of it..is this..live your life fully and be good towards everyone. Be thankful for what you have.

Having gone through a few of my own health scares these past couple of years..I continue to live how I have always believed anyway..there is always someone else going through something worse than I am..
Don't look at what's wrong with your life..look at all you have.. :D
