Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about that title. There better not be any flower child monkey business going on with this new album or I'm going to go friggin ballistic!

Yeah that title reminds me of a Brady Bunch song

Or one by The Partridge Family

I think it was sunshine day

Damn your good.....I forgot all about that.

Yeah, a little embarrassed that I remember that, but hey Marcia was singing

The chick that played "Laurie" on The Partridge Family was my choice for a hot singing chick back during those shows. The only good that came out of The Partridge Family besides them being able to drive that smog exempt bus around was some years later when Danny Bonaduce kicked Donny Osmond's ass on national tv. That was hilarious.

Yeah Bonaduce also fought Osmond at some point. After Osmond received the beating, he was crying about it right after they announced that Bonaduce won the fight. It seems Osmond started wanting to get the fight going again. I looked in youtube for the clip but it's not there. Only thing I found was on Bonaduce's wiki page it states:

As an adult, Bonaduce boxed Donny Osmond in a charity event and later boxed former Brady, Barry Williams, in a separate event. Bonaduce won both contests gaining a decision over Osmond and a TKO over Williams.

As for Williams, it definitely wasn't a "Sunshine day" for him when he went up against Bonaduce.

I think around here FITH would be considered an uptempo anthem. Basically, if a song has a great melody with a hooky chorus, it's an anthem. To be considered "rock," I am afraid a song has to be a Schon/Castronovo jam set to lyrics (preferably lyrics that are as unintelligable as possible). Journey albums have always had a couple of ballads, a couple of uptempo songs, and few unpolished rock tunes. I don't see why some of us are worried about revelation. It won't be TBF, because Perry is not in control anymore. It won't be Generations, because some effort and planning actually went into this album. It may just be Arrival, part 2, but Arrival sure gained in fan appreciation around here since the furor of tapegate died down.

FITH is a stone co1d monster.

There's a reason why it's made into a 1ive set with it's THIRD singer now, it's just a great Journey track.

Good pointed question b/c you know and I know if it were sp or AP at the front of say FITH or TPIYH he'd doing pirhouettes in his Greek toga.

Augeri or JSS singing those songs he won't dig them.
perry or Pineda he wou1d.
Bottom 1ine.
FITH's maybe somewhat 1ike the Red13 songs which my good friend Dan hates, I can't covert him.
However, for Journey I don't see how you can get more immediate or accessib1e than The P1ace In Your Heart.

Singer...it's muddled shit. I'm used to Journey having the SP "in your fucking face" vocals...not some dude that sounds like he's singing from across the street. Additionally, the chorus is as thin as a piece of paper...not to mention you can hear that it's been protooled to hell. The whole album has a copy and paste feel to it.

FYI all of the following qualify as rockers - dont stop belevin, where were you, seperate ways , to be alive again, higher place.
anything that would fit on raised on radio does not qualify.

I would say the Title Track and Be Good To Yourself qualify as rockers off of ROR.
