I am so glad the Flyers don't have to see the Habs in round one. They scare me!

As they should  ... It's hard to look past anyone really. A hot goalie can carry the weakest of any playoff team.

No shit Sir, Jacques Plante, Gump Worsley, Ken Dryden and the ever
hot tempered Patrick Roy have done just that on play-off occasions.

...speaking of playoff hockey...I have no clue why, but I can drink almost twice as much Labatt's Blue when I watch hockey than when I'm doing anything else. When it's just me and my dogs watching, and the Habs score I give them each a palmful of beer to share in the celebration. Playoff hockey is the greatest live sporting event known to man. Did I say that already? Sorry.

If I was a GM in the Revolutionary War times and I had first pick in the draft, I'd have to take Jefferson, but it would be tough to pass on George Washington and Ben Franklin..maybe I'd try and snag Andrew Jackson in the late rounds...lots of upside!

Ben Franklin got all of the women. I would draft him for star appeal. Good PR.

First off Labatts Blue is pony piss to me.
Ole Vienna is the best round here but unknown elsewhere.
Wasting beer on a bow wow, what your problem is?

I remember drinking those little bottles of OV back in college (we called them "splits")...I have no recollection of what they taste like though as I haven't lapped one in years. Regular season hockey beer is one thing, playoff hockey beer is a totally different animal. I'll take my Blue...thank you. 8)

Ren, enjoy your 4 game playoff ride. Better pray to God extra hard, because the Flyers have NO fucking shot against the Pens.

I'll take San Jose to win it all.
