I'll give you the fact that we have no shot against the Pens, so it is good that we are playing Washington!

Two questions for you.......

1. What do NHL players strive for?

2. What team holds the most of em?

 I miss hockey bickering, I used to do it with my dearly departed Daddy daily.
Thanks for witting with me.

I was 9 when the Habs swept my Flyers in '76. My dislike of them is well earned. :D

Yeah I totally forgot they played today. As of last night they were 8th and Pittsburgh was 1st. I wonder if PIT sat their stars today. Getting shutout looks like the Pens rested some guys.

Washington is one of the hottest teams in the league. Ovechkin is a treat to watch.

The Pens only sat Crosby, but they looked like they lost on purpose to avoid playing us, which they would have if they won today. The post game interviews were entertaining, suggesting that the Pens threw today's game. The Flyers have owned Pittsburgh this year. It is all about matchups. I still would worry about having to play them in a seven game series.

As far as Ovechkin goes...we will see. He is only one guy. Can't wait!

Wyatt can't wait for the playoffs to start. I have talked him into not shaving until the Stanley Cup is hoisted. Here he is watching Vancouver tank yet another game.

Hey Progrocker, or any Nascar fans...

Did you all see Jimmie Johnson skating with the Dallas Stars on today's race show? He was having a bit of trouble.

I missed JJ ice-skating? Haha.. damn! :(

I didn't see the pre-race or anything between lap 23 and lap 220... was playing hoops with my buddies.

I was a big Flyer fan when I was little. Loved Bobby Clarke and the Broad Street Bullies. That fat cake eating Grimace looking bitch Kate Smith singing God Bless America, was a cool tradition as well.

Lol...Kate Smith was so past her prime, her sudden popularity during that time shocked even her!

The best, toughest hockey seems to be played on the west coast now...(Anaheim, San Jose, etc.) but the Flyers are trying to bring it back.

I think you mean "God Bless America".

Yeah...I liked those guys too (so didn't their dentists) . Early this year they were trying to emulate those guys with all the suspensions they were getting. Jesse Boulerice is the ultimate hack.

Damn you for showing that. 8)
I get a kick out of those skinny-looking goalies, Lanny's big lumberjack stache & that crackhead Fleury's celebration.
