The Jizz? Please.

The Hornets are tough. The Sperms are the champs. Hell, Houston is a solid team. Phoenix I believe is done, because fat daddy is a load of walking feces, who cannot make a free throw. Golden State is the wild card IMO. Denver sucks and they can't stop a cold.

Jazz have owned the Hornets, especially Williams against Paul. They also just beat the hell out of SA. Houston will fade in the playoffs...

Oracle Arena home of GSW is the best place to watch pro basketball coz that place rocks. We fear the Jazz though but not the Lakers. Tough lost against the Hornets Sunday, but I hope that will still make it to the playoffs. Go Warriors.

Now all you NBA assholes who think pro ball is better, can see for themselves how much better college ball is than pro ball.

Memphis is going to die at the stripe?

Oh boy, after reading all Deano's messages on this board, I thought we agree on all everything, from Arnel to Journey to politics and other issues, this is where we disagreed. NBA vs. College basketball. Dude, c'mon NBA is more exciting.

You have got to be kidding? They fake injuries, fake fouls, rape women, fall over painted lines and don't play defense. The NBA is unwatchable.

But please continue to agree with verything else I say.

Since the NFL, NHL and MLB are loaded w/angels and saints, I can understand where your coming from!!!

Well, actually, the NHL is loaded with great guys. The NFL has murderers and rapists, and MLB has roiders.

OK...I guess gambling rings wouldn't count anyway!!!

The NBA is run by a bunch of thugs. If it weren't for them getting lucky by being in the NBA, they'd be dealing drugs somewhere in the shitty part of town. Hell, they already have 10 kids apiece.

I also need to say that I hate college sports.

College and NFL football is all I care about, so my wife gets a 6-month sports break each year.

Also agree with the college vs. NBA, at least for this year. & PLEASE don't go by this last game - Mphs got psyched out by the moment. Go back and watch the previous three games online. Esp. the first half of the Michigan State game. I haven't seen an NBA game that fun in a LONG time.

The NBA is getting to be in the same sentence as baseball. SORRY. Time has passed by both of these games as a whole, and it is showing in the whole sports fan base as one. College basketball you can argue.. it's exciting come March time, and the atmosphere that the students march in the stands flows out of your television..making it somewhat entertaining to watch. (But honestly, how exciting can a slam dunk be anymore? really..)

The NBA, to me, is run by paid officiating, and depend on only a few big names to keep the torch going. (Kobe, Shaq, Kidd, Dirk, ETC.) And oh yah, multi-colored uniforms to try to appeal to the watching audience. Plus, like someone else has already mentioned, it's stale, and gives me a stomach ache.

Baseball on the other hand, is my lullaby. Whenever I want to fall asleep, I turn on the sport known as Americas Past time. "A fly ball to center field......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................caught."

It is America's past time for a reason. I love it, not even a percentage as much as I love football, but nonetheless. With a kid brother, friends with kids on teams, and run of the mill leagues around, it's a social thing. I'm used to going to games to sit and hang out, enjoy a nice summer day, etc. I used to go to at least 3 Braves games per summer back in the heyday of Smoltz/Maddux/Glavine. Yeah, it's good to fall asleep to on TV. But baseball is as intrinsically entwined with spring and summer as humidity.

I agree as far as going to the park on a summer day is concerned and catchin' some rays. But there is a reason baseballs' meat is in the summer time. Summer time is time when the kids are off school, and what better family gathering to go to than a baseball game? Relaxed environment nonetheless and a very friendy chess match going on, competition wise. As George Carlin said, there's a reason for a sport like football to start in the fall.. "when everything is DYING.." It makes perfect sense.

Here is a George Carlin Clip on BASEBALL VS FOOTBALL. Genius. Pure Genius. This guy could be GOD in my book.

Well I agree, sort of...I really missed the 80's basketball, Magic-Bird-Isaiah-Kareem era. Also the Jordan-Barkley-Robinson in the 90's. Most players nowadays are more into material stuff rather than want to win the game. But I can say some players still play with their heart and willing to take some paycut in order to win championship. But overall I still love this game

That was the best! From the ‘79 NCAA final on – the Magic vs. Bird years were the most fun, imo.
