Mississippi with Coloarado being the least fat state. Must be all that good Rocky Mountain air!

The south has always been the worst. Must be all that southern fried cookin. It's interesting. Looks like a lot of your midwestern areas too. So does that mean it is more of a problem in your rural populated states?

I would have said Wisconsin. All those fat pasty white fuckers up there mowing bratworst, 67 oz beers and entire blocks of cheese for snack time alone while watching Brett Favre documentaries.

It's usually a combination of factors - Culture / Heredity / Lack of Nutritional Education...

Also, the cheapest foods, i.e. fast food, are by and large the worst for you healthwise, so the more rural, poor areas will quite often have more of a problem...

Actually, and I know this by experience, rural areas have better access to fresh, whole foods and less access to places like fast food restaurants.

Yes, if you purchase them at places like farmer's markets.

I shop at our farmer's market all the time...I guess my point (that I poorly made) was that the cheap, quick, and easy foods are often not the most healthy...ties in with the whole nutrition education thing...

Many of whom appear committed to supporting the Spandex industry. I suppose the industry had to find a new target audience after Steve and others of that era retired theirs.

Hey just a tad over 200 years old and the greatest, most prosperous nation in the history of the world. Not too bad.

The most prosperous nation in the history of the world? That is one large boast. Easily forgiven considering you are still a young country, and therefore have no knowledge of history.
