The fattest nation in the history of civilization!

It isn't often that I hear Americans being associated with civilisation. :D

Hey just a tad over 200 years old and the greatest, most prosperous nation in the history of the world. Not too bad.

Is that how you see yourselves?
Looks like your heads are as fat as your asses. :D

At the expense of others. The most active terrorist on this planet is sitting in the Oval Office counting his money. Take your poll outside the US and see where it places then.

The is onelarge boast.

Nice English there. Must not be your first language on Uranus, huh?

A small typo, easily corrected. English? You don't speak American then? You're hardly helping your case.

Careful there Karma. I might start to believe that you are intelligent, even for an American.

Americans have no idea how they are perceived by the rest of the world. And maybe that is for the best.

I'd not say that is true of all Americans, though I agree that Americans are raised with a certain arrogance that they are unaware of more often than not.

Complete BS. World wealth, income, freedom, liberty whatever measure you choose is not a zero sum game. Just because American's gain does not mean any other nation loses. Other nations just like to place blame to cover for their own greed and corruption, ie: Mexico.

Actually the US president makes very little in annual salary, the big bucks are made after his term(s) are over ask Bill Clinton, and others before him.

Again your lack of knowledge is evident. Not that I blame you. You have been raised there, and so know no different. America looks after itself. Always has. Luckily your great nation is devoid of corruption.
Of course others head for your shores. We call them terrorists. Ever wondered why?

Why again did GWB invade Iraq and overrun their government? I know it had nothing to do with the oil. Now what was it........... I don't see him running to Tibet to offer his assistance.

Helped out all those rich, white folk in California but wasn't so quick to send help to New Orleans.

I'm not seeing much action against Zimbabwe either now that I think about it.

Absolutely right. And the mayor had all kinds of evacuation options at his disposal, but the fact is, nobody guessed the levees would fail. They got federal aid as soon as it was known what they needed and how bad the situation was. It's tough to guess when there is zero communication.

Not at all. Our founders proclaimed rights to us to keep us free from government corruption. Some in that same government are trying to undermine those rights by bypassing our Constitution and citing foreign precedent. Which would put us in your boat and leave no one to pull the cart, and doll out foreign aide.

Compared to most other countries, it sure does. There are MANY places in the world where ethnic groups and religious factions still kill each other in large numbers.

Absolutely, if blacks in America were counted as a separate country they'd rank 16th in terms of wealth & prosperity.

America is a target of terrorism because they hate our freedom, religion, AND support of Israel. There are other factors but those are the biggest.
