Postby jrnyjetster » Thu Apr 10, 2008 2:30 am

 Will it debut on itunes, WalMart.com? Will Journey's appearance on Ellen next month, kick start all the anticipated media promotion we've been reading about?

im sure they will send out singles to radio, but what are the odds any of the big stations will play it.
since they dont have a label in the us, the only promotion will be from the band directly.
REO did a bus tour of midwest radio stations that really got the word out about thier release thru walmart.

Surely this link has been on here before, but just in case....
wondering if "All these Years" will be the first song released?

I sure hope so as it's a great song. Personally, I'd like to see it co-released with Never Walk Away.

Is a full track listing too much to ask now, 7 weeks out?

BTW, I STRONGLY move to strike "The" and "Journey" from the title of "The Journey Revelation."

Apparently not. The artwork was supposed to still be under wraps also.

Absolutely - just the one word "Revelation". Whose idea was it to lengthen it out like that?

Edit: Are we talking about one song or the actual album title?

Perhaps.

But the posted was posted first at the Journey forums and the cover art was in use at Second Life. That is the cover.

That price point and the product placement will drive the CD sales. I think we will have a gold CD on our hands without much effort. Casual fans waiting in line will see the journey name, pick up the disc, see it is 3 disc for 11.88 and they will recognize all the titles for the re-records and think "Why Not? I always liked those songs!"....RING, another sale.

Suzie's gotta be wrong w/ that price.

I'll bet it's $11.88 for a package just with the CDs (like REO had one standard and then the triple disc).

Suzer, right on the noise as per usual. :D

STILL no tracklisting, what in hell?

Better be adding some rockers to D2 and It Could Have Been You, Positive Touch, and Once You Love Somebody to D1.
