Some background:
I flew to California this weekend and got a chance to hang at a recording studio, for a project my brother is working on. It just so happens the project is being produced/engineered by the guy who did 'For the Love of Strange Medicine' (and a TON of other recordings (Jimbo Barton)). He was an extremely cool dude, btw and got amazing drum sounds.
Anyway, we are able to sync up the studio audio with the hand held vid cam and I thought it came out pretty good. There are some obvious (possibly not so obvious) nods to a couple of Steve Smith 'parts', but I did all of this on the spot with no pre-conceived solo in mind. (Yes, you can tell, lol)
anyway - any feedback appreciated.
cheers
