AWESOME!!!!!!! He and J.P. Parise were great together. Both got traded to the Islanders.

I had that hockey card years ago. Any WHA cards???

Next to Jude, Mike Antonvich was my second favorite player of all time.

Minnesota Fighting Saints, he and Mike (Shaky Walton) scored alot of goals waaaayyyyy back then. Goalies for the Saints were Mike Curran & John Garrett. Got to see Gordy skate with his sons for Houston& Bobby Hull played for Winnnepeg.

Growing up we had season tickets to the Stars, then we went WHA and had em for the Saints.

What GREAT days!!!!!!

P.S. I am NOT lying its the playoffs and you get Hockey Night in Canada. I have NO clue where to find the NHL on TV. I get the Dallas Stars on Fox Sports, and a occasional Saturday or Sunday afternoon game on network TV. Outside of that we DONT get the NHL's network on our cable. Its a TOTAL joke and it ALLLLLLLLLL started by moving a team out of THE US hockey hotbed Minnesota and shipping them to Dallas.

Yep, Moonie I kinda remember Peter Puck. Hockey was always on the tv when I was a kid, but I never really watched it back then. :lol:

Hmm.. well I am still not really into following any one team.. but here I go:

Rangers

Pittsburgh (Ottawa just blows, and plus can't cheer for a team who when they first came into the league got millions of dollars from the Federal government yet teams in Quebec, Winnipeg, Vancouver, Edmonton, and Calgary got squat.. )

Minnesota vs Colorado - Don't really care.. I like Joe Sakic, but Ryan Smythe just irks me now..

Montreal (Reminds me of the 06 Oilers)

Right now the only team that I want out are the Ducks.. Then if they do get swept, they'll finish in 15th.. How's that for "taking your team to the sewer" there Burkie?

Conference Finals will be:

Detroit Vs Dallas

Montreal Vs Pittsburgh

Oh and that Jacket that Cherry's wearing is in tribute to his wife, Rose and also Team Canada's Woman's team who lost to the Yanks in China.

No worries though, have to give the Americans something to keep them interested!

Besides, we're taking both Gold Medals at the Olympics in 2010!

We went from a 3 - 0 for San Jose in the first 4 minutes........to winning 4 - 3! Amazing game to watch........what a sea of red!

Thanks for that info Jodes, I wasn't even thinking of Rose
when he wore it the other night....makes perfect sense.

Golds in BC sounds sweetly to me!
