Are you fucking serious. It's FOX's most popular show! He's been an Internet legend for a few years now.

Also, never call Hugh Laurie a fag.

1) Yes, I'm fucking serious.
2) The only thing I watch on Fox is sports. Here's a little fucking trivia for you and everyone else. In my entire life guess how many episodes of The Simpsons, Family Guy, and House I have seen combined? Answer: Zero
3) Hugh Laurie is a fag. Even has the last name of a cock smoker. Blow me.

You might want to make an exception and give House a try; I suspect you'd appreciate how he often conflates humor with outright nastiness.

I'm no big connoisseur of pop-culture (the new opiate of the massess), but from reading Saint John's posts, it does seem that Dr. House could be his distant Uncle...

I've heard House is the bomb! But I've never seen an episode yet... it came highly recommended, though.

I rarely watch TV at all, but House is one of my favorite shows... probably one of the best ones on TV now... I LOVE Hugh's dry acerbic wit and heavy sarcasm. I think it comes on Tuesdays after American Idol maybe? IDK, it's also in syndication on one of the cable networks too.

I rarely watch TV either, but love that show. Being in medicine a long time now, he just says things my co-workers & I would LOVE to say sometimes, lol.

Me also.
I just don't get any of those shows, I don't watch TV unless it's Seinfeld, reruns of the REAL tv shows on TVLand or sports.

Agreed on all counts, save Seinfeld. I'd rather use my ball sack for a pin cushion than watch that show. Completely boring and humorless. Odd thing is, I love Curb Your Enthusiasm. :)

Not a big cartoon watcher either. I like House and the CSIs and watch a couple reality shows every now and then. But the only show I absolutely make a point of watching is this one........damn writers strike, have to wait until January now......argggggg!

Truer than we probably want to think about...

No doubt many of us are self-medicating all sorts of issues by hanging around here discussing TV and swapping insults

That's for damn sure. Look at the people who go into withdrawals when this place shuts down and they don't have their MR safety net. They do say the only way to get rid of one addiction is to replace it with another... and I guess on some levels that is quite possibly true.

This forum has it's sitcom, soap opera and drama all wrapped up into one. For those who spend a lot of time here, I think this just replaces what others find in watching TV. Sometimes this is more entertaining
