OT- Why I Hate Liquid Fabric Softner

Postby scarygirl » Sun Apr 20, 2008 9:05 am

Is it just me or has anyone else here noticed how the last little bit of fabric softener REFUSES to pour out?

P.S. If it is just me, the fabric softner is out to get ME!!! BAH HA

Scary, if you buy the liquid soap with the softener already in it, don't you solve this highly complex problem?

Awesome. Details upon your return.

Oh and Melissa, don't forget Tide with Febreze. Febreze absolutely exterminates farts.

I love the smell of liquid fabric softner added after the wash cycle, especially to my sheets & towels.
I've never had Downey (mountain spring is my favorite scent) hold out on me.

VERY simple solution: make SURE the cap is on tight, grab the bottle by the BOTTOM, and swing it around windmill style a few times, like Pete Townshend riffin' on his guitar. The centrifugal force brings everything to the neck.

Then just take the cap off and there ya go.

Works great for that last bit of ketchup, too...

Repeating: make SURE the cap is on tight first.

I used to HATE you. / Now I cannot wait to meet you and get drunk with you Jon Boy.

Please forgive my idiotic prior comments. See you in Irvine? Unless I choose to ride the Surfliner down to San Juan Cap and see BA with you. I am not a big acoustic guy, but Bryan Adams and Bruce Springsteen are worthy. They aren't exactly Billy Squire you know.

Secret confession #284: I'm addicted to doing laundry. It really gets me high!! The best fabric softener ever is the Downy Tahitian Falls. Holy Lord. I keep my bedroom door shut, and when I open it and walk in each evening it's like the Febreze commercials and I just stand there and sniff for about 30 seconds. (I'm a dork.) :P

I've never heard of a tape huffer. ;)
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Please, ladies, I crumple them in my hands sometimes and then I smell it everywhere I go. I seriously might need laundry rehab. I remember being a little girl and playing in a box of Tide like it was a sandbox.

Madness. Clearly the best softener ever is Snuggle Sunkissed Breeze, which I think those sunnzabitches stopped making. I may consider a boycott until they bring it back, so send me a sample of your Downy.
