What does how long you've been here, have anything to do with anything in the first place whether it's 2 days, or a year? The point was.. is that every time I come across a post by stevew..it's always a negative aspect of the big picture. Honestly, who wants to keep hearing the SAME hammer being pounded over, and over, and over again? Really. Is it an attention whore thing, or what? Gets on my damn nerves. Sometimes negatives between two parties is a good thing. But every post? It's like chasing a teenage girl that you don't even like. Makes no sense . He's entitled to his opinion, of course..and so are you, Donna. That's fine whoever doesn't approve the new lineup, I can give a shit less.

But reading it daily on a consistent basis can get under your skin only because it's nails on a chalk board. Go put a broken record in your record player RIGHT now. I'll bet you by the end of the night you'll want to drive a school bus through an orphanage.

Well, if you have in fact been here that long, then you know that Steve hasn't said this shit since August of '06. In fact, the first time I remember him posting was when Dean was calling him a fag or something over his positive comments about SA. There are many of us who felt a loyalty to JSS, and all that happened last June has soured us to the current-day Journey. Some people have moved past it, others never really cared as much as they claimed to initially and just have decided to 'go as the wind blows', and then there are those of us who still don't want to give them another chance. To each their own, right?

There are lots of people and lots of posts here that annoy me. NEARLY 100% of the time I just pass right over them. Steve is not an eloquent poster. He can't spell worth a shit and his posts are very rudimentary, but he says what he feels. He has that right, until Andrew tells him otherwise. I have met Steve on a number of occasions, and our children are friends. You won't find a nicer person on here. Just as you get annoyed at his posts, I get annoyed at people who keep taking pot-shots at him.

Finally, and I hope this is the last I say on this subject, this is not BackTalk. Something that has made this board as popular as it has been is that there have been allowed negative views of the band and it's members. It seems that there are some that want everyone to 'agree' with the clique du jour, and those that don't are "looking for a fight". It doesn't have to be that way.

I just thought of something (one last note) -

If we cringe at stuff like that - imagine how Arnel must feel. The guy is professional and he knows he's being scrutinized with an electron microscope. In this day and age, one goof is forever immortalized on "You Tube".

Anybody remember the out-take of "Missing You" from the FLOTSM years?

Which outtake, MistieJ? I have the sessions, there was nothing on it that was embarrassing to SP.

I agree on all of your points. And by no means am I dating back to his first posts back in '06 or whatever. I'm talking recent. Whatever the case may be, I said what I wanted to say, and I'm glad I confronted it. No big deal. That's why were here. 8) 8) Andrew, you're safe, for now! haha

I once knew a woman named Annie, so I guess I let her looks influence my preconceived idea. Know what I mean? You look totally different.

Ohhh yeah. Poor JSS. I really let the arsenal fly that night, and by him trying to back himself up to a fan really had me goin in the right direction of entertainment, but in the wrong direction for him having words with me! I like the guy, but it WAS hysterical knowing he was arguing with me over somethin' immature and lame. Couldn't say it wasn't enteraining, eh? lol

I didnt start the thread. I thought it sounded bad to do a Journey medley and ruin it.The other singers really made it sound bad. If you thought it sounded great , good for you. I thought it sucked Sorry if that is negative, what wrong with an opinion? hearing shit like Arnel doing a duet with heart gets under my skin. i didnt bitch about that. whatever

Here is a quote from a hardcore David Lee Roth fan: "I think Sammy Hagar sucks no matter what he does!"

I think this has more to do with people preferring a specific singer than it does with dishing out petty criticisms.
