What's amazing is what Republicans will do to win an election. Lying, cheating and stealing is not winning. Great lesson to teach the kids there.

Dude. It's all in the super delegates hands. They can pick who they want. That was my point, it doesn't matter what anyone votes in the democrat primary. All that, "Count every vote" crap only counts when there's a republican in the mix. You should be happy regardless. You have Obama or Clinton who are both Marxists, or McCain who is a liberal. Either way you win and I lose.

"I remember landing under sniper fire. There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base."

And the guy YOU elected only has been lying since he learned to speak. The only difference is, his lies are costing thousands and thousands of lives. I'll take my chances with Hillary or Obama for that matter thank you.

I really don't want to go down the "Bush lied" road again. Its my judgment that Bush is a good man, he's not the evil liar that the left likes to think he is.

Rick, with all due respect, that's a naive opinion. If you don't think the Democrats pull the same things the Republicans are doing, then you don't know much about politics. It's only just now fashionable to bash Republicans for being corrupt but the same kinds of things went on when the Dems were in power for, what, 50 years or so?

...and Clinton's inattention, along with Bush's, cost thousands of lives on 9/11 and who knows how many more. Look, we can go 'round and 'round on this thing. Considering what the leading Dems were saying even BEFORE Bush was in office, we probably still would have gone to war in Iraq.

I've never heard of Dems crossing party lines to vote in the primaries for who they think is the weaker delegate. That's fucked up.

Dude, it happened this year here in Michigan because the Democrat party voided Michigan's delegates. Hillary was the only major nominee on the ballot. Democrat's were urged to vote for McCain.

I would be amazed if Rush Limbaugh has as much power/influence as you think he does. He may think this is a fun idea, but I certainly wouldn't go to all the trouble of changing party affiliations to vote in a primary just for kicks. Pretty lame, IMO.

This fight between Hillary & Obama would be going on regardless. There is NO WAY that woman is backing down. Not now, not ever! I guess you can blame the Limbaugh zombies for this, but the real power lies with the candidates. Either one of them could have backed out "for the good of the party", but neither has. Just sayin'.

It's not illegal nor unethical as long as the rules of the particular state allow it. I really have no one to vote for in the Republican primary since McCain already has it wrapped up, so I've thought about voting for Hillary myself. Probably won't do it but the thought is there. It's not "fucked up". In this case, I'd do it because I think Obama would do more serious damage to the country than either Hillary or McCain.

If Hillary would have lost Ohio and Texas, the super delegates would have less reason to consider switching to her. Now they have to see that she's the more viable candidate.

Obama has grown as the campaign has progressed. He has adopted a great self-deprecating style that calls political chicanery as he sees it. Perfect example, is how he lampooned Hillary recently as Annie Oakley. Truth and humor is a potent cocktail. He will demolish McCain in a debate.

As evidenced by the mid-term elections, Karl Rove's opinion means nothing.
He put homophobia on ballots in 2004 and and attacked peoples patriotism.
That isn't the work of a genius, but a political scoundrel.

And Rove has said BOTH candidates are "fatally flawed", so what's your point?

Lefty or not, what does it matter if he can put the country back on track? I don't care if the person is left, right, black, white, gay or straight... if they have the proper wisdom, judgement, and personality to be able to unite the country and unite our allies around the world to begin undoing the damage done by G.W. & Associates then it's all good for me.

Do you really think Hillary or McCain are going to do any better?

P.S. - Glenn Beck is an asshole. Why he is on CNN I haven't got a clue. The dude is arrogant and stupid. He's probably fucking Rush Limbaugh on the side.

Can't believe I am going to say this but I am and I am sincere. Screw the Democratic party. Screw Obama. Screw Dean, screw Pelosi. Fuck em all.

It's plain to see, to anyone with a political brain at all, that Obama is unable to win the General election. McCain beats him in Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire and New Jersey. New Jersey? Yes, that Dark blue state he cannot win(Obama)? Oh but Obama is going to be strong in Montana, Wyoming, Alabama and Mississppi! Yeah, riiggghhht. Just because he beat HRC there doesn't mean shit. Now, HRC is beating McCain in Ohio, Pennsy, NJ and basically tied in Florida. Now tell me folks, What group of states is more likely to go blue in November, OH, PA, NJ and FL, or WY, AL, MS or MT? The Obama campaign is completey in denial. Yes he has won more states and more delegates, but who gives a shit? I'll tell you who does. The Black Democrat. Even though he has a 25% chance of beating McCain in November, and HRC has probably a 50-55% chance of winning, they would rather not change(the Superdelegates), to honour an African American. So with that, I say good. Go McCain. If it's Bomb Bomb McCain, I won't vote but will hope he beats Obama. I hope the Dems get their collective asses kicked. Fuck them. Why should I argue passionately, educate myself on issues, fight on MR like there's no tomorrow, so they can snatch a sure as fuck defeat from a should be landslide? I won't any longer. Fuck the Dems if they nominate Obama. There reason there is Super Delegates is for this very reason.

So if McCain gets in and continues the ass fucking the country is taking now, I won't blame the soccer red state moms or Karl Rove. I will blame Howard Dean, Barack Obama, and all those fucking thickheaded Supers who went blind at nomination time. If Obama truly loved his party, he would step down. They know, trust me they know the polls and they know what their fate is going to be come November. I am through supporting these pricks and basically politics as a whole has sucked the very life out of me.

Fuck You Obama!

what did i say back last DEC as the news about the surge was positive... that MCAIN would be the last man standing... and if anyone thinks this is about BUSH's policies on everthing and MCIAN wins... what does that say about all these lousy poll numbers Bush is getting now??? The benchmark for BUSH legacy and support is MCCAIN getting elected...
end of story... If come November and the public denies MCCAIN winning, then that will be a benchmark as well, regarding the last 8 years.

so, after all is said and done, this election comes down to being a mandate on the GW Bush administration ?

If the dems cant win this election based on that, then they will never win another presidential election. If we vote as a nation to "stay the course" I truly fear for our future ( insert flushing noise here......)

No more debating politics for me...I am going to enjoy my last summer in peace thank you all very much...because no matter who wins we are fuqqed.

There is NO POLITICIAN in American worth voting for! NONE.

Politics is now just a quick way to the millionaire boys/girls club and to hell with the rest of us.

I am going to go enjoy concerts, fishing and friends the rest of this year. The politicians can go take flying leap for all I care. Washington should be leveled and we should start the hell over with STATESMEN, not politicians who's only desire is to line the pockets of themselves and their cronies.

Gotta say I'm pretty much in agreement with you , big fella. Obama can't even take the heat that half of his own PARTY is dishing out. What WILL happen to that guy under the spotlight of a general election??? This underlying :he's gtting picked on casue he's Black" shit ain't gonna even PHASE the conservative voters out there. And Hill has already dug up so much dirt on the guy, that the Cons aren't even gonna have to work hard in the Fall. They'll just utter the name "Rev Jeramiah" (and whatever other shady dude that gets dug out of his closet between now and October) and this guy's toast.

I think John McCain must be a REALLY happy camper right about now...
