Here's some unofficial lyrics others have put together again

EDIT: See SJ's below

And some from Never Walk Away

So young in love they couldn't wait
Said their vows, had to run away
Suddenly, they felt their lives had changed
They believed their hearts were strong
Just to find they couldn't get along
The key they shared slowly comes undone

(chorus)
Will she go or will she stay (will she stay)
Fool herself for one more day
Don't give up
Never Walk Away
Love's a promise that he made
In his heart it still remains
Don't give up
Never Walk away

Had to meet somewhere half way
Heart to heart, face to face
Compromise the price they had to pay
Cared enough to stand their ground
Screamed and shouted 'til the walls came down
Won the fight, still a brand new day

(chorus)
Will she go or will she stay (will she stay)
Fool herself for one more day
Don't give up
Never Walk Away
Love's a promise that he made
In his heart it still remains
Don't give up
Never Walk Away

(chorus)
Will she go or will she stay (will she stay)
Fool herself for one more day
Don't give up
Never Walk Away
Love's a promise that he made
In his heart it still remains
Don't give up
Never Walk Away

Never Walk Away
Oh, Oh (never walk away)
Never Walk Away

Those lyrics are way off. Close, but stiff off. More importantly, the song sounds great.

A bit more accurate lyrics (special thanks to a certain someone):

A faded wedding photograph
You and me in our first dance
Our eyes are closed
We’re lost in ones sweet embrace
Since those days the world has changed
But our love remains the same
God knows we've had our share of saving grace

And I'm proud of all the blessings
You have given me
And mountains we have climbed to get this far

You learn to take the laughter with the tears
After all these years

You make it feel brand new
After the fires that we walked through
Against the odds we never lost our faith
In our house we've made our own
Where our children all have grown
Precious moments time cannot erase

Make a livin’ up and down the gypsy highways
Seasons that we bare to share afar
Somehow in my heart I always keep you near
After all these years

Chorus:
After all these years
You stood by me
The days and nights that I was gone
After all these years
You sacrificed, believed in me
And you stood strong
Cause with our love there's nothin’ left to fear
After all these years

(Repeat chorus)

Wow, "After All These Years" made it on the radio, too? This song does give me goosebumps - especially the harmony (is that with Deen?) I do have a feeling this song will be the popular one...it is emotional.

Deen sounds GREAT in the background...a place I've always contended, like him, he belongs. Kudos to all the guys on a spectacular song. 8)

Hrmm I gotta say I think I kinda like this one. Better than "Never Walk Away" - and I'm always more pro-rocker than ballad. Very Journey-esque - and while I still see no similarities to Perry in Arnel's voice, I can easily imagine Perry's vocals to this. Reminds me a lot of WYLAW, though a bit sappier (I didn't think that was possible...)

Now this is a great song. Still don't care for 'Never Walk Away', but this song is really good. AP's voice is clear and strong, and DC's harmonies are awesome. Good job gents!

Uhm, maybe in concert get Ann Wilson to join in for a little duet. It'd kill. Bank on it.

It'd kill alright. It'd kill anyone under the stage!!! I don't think there's enough steel on any stage in the US that can stand the weight of both Ann Wilson's ass and Neal Schon's Ego.

As far as this song goes...it's 10x better than Never Walk Away, which is just...well, not good. It lacks originality. It draws so much similarity to Believe in me that JSS should be fucking pissed...

After all these years seems like a great tune...but I'm on the fence. I would like to see it be given the Hilary treatment though...and really pushed through the paces. If it's still standing after that, I'll reneg.

That D.J. almost sounds like Delilah, Image , at least she didn't say the syrupy crap Delilah does.

She was funny at the end though, sounded like a kid. Brand new Journeee!

:o I believe Journey could very possibly have a mega hit on their hands with this one...absolutely! This single will definitely create a buzz, if anything else. I think REVELATION is going to do very well and it's off to a great start...at least radio stations are giving these songs AIRPLAY!

Maybe a "hit" among melodic rock fans and people who listen to classic rock radio, but in no way will this be a "megahit." I hope I'm proven wrong though.

"Megahit" status is reserved these days for down-tuned post-grunge semi-metal ballads and mundane, remedial rap/R&B tunes.

Maybe a 'hit' if you're Miley Cyrus or the Jonas Bros.
Can't see any 50 yr olds having a 'hit' today.

I don't know....I think we might end up being very surprised here...and as far as 50 year olds having hits...how about BonJovi or U2? And let's not forget the success the Eagles have had with their WalMart deal!

I'll give ya U2 'cause they've changed their sound a bit as they moved along. BonJovi though, has been playing the same song for about 15 years now.

Success is different, no?
I mean, Foo Fighters and Good Charlotte are successful, yet I can't name one song that topped some pop/radio chart.
Did The Eagles have a hit? They were successful because of WalMart and we heard 'How Long' a couple of times...that's all.
Please define 'hit'?
