With Election 08 falling down faster than a Jessica Simpson single, I'd say he stands an EXCELLENT CHANCE.

"After much deliberation with my political advisors, here are my top five priorities once I reach 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

1) Sign a presidential order demanding that Steve Perry reunite with Journey. I’ve been waiting for 10 years, and it seems like a perfectly reasonable abuse of my executive power. Plus I can make them play my birthday party on the South Lawn."

Nice one!

That would be my first goal as well.

I sometimes wonder what would happen on this board if Steve Perry ACTUALLY re-united with Journey....I'm assuming that a lot of people would start to have convulsions causing them to create nonsensical posts. There would be a lot of threads with the subject "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!".

I appreciate this feller making that his first priority, but the problem with this plan is that Steve Perry would then make it his first priority to move to France. Call it daft-dodging.

Yeah, Lets sideline Arnel so we can hear Perry croak out the classics 3 steps down... He made his mark. Can we move on please ? I loved SP voice just like the next but he is too old to sing the new stuff or the old stuff. Do we want another TBF ? Couple of cool songs and the underlying reality that his voice was "toast" and this was 96 so..... He gave it up for the fans and I thank him for it but damnit its time to move on... Journey sounds like Journey again without him...
