Yeah Rip, I used to sing with AMO occassionally. I was more like a guest singer. It was one thing to hear my voice through the giant p/a system of Cal Jams, not saying I'm a great vocalist but I was pretty blown away by the concept of hearing my voice on that platform, but it was completely out of this world when hearing Arnel's voice as backup to my voice. His voice is awesome from that perspective as well also. I also joined up with one of the original members in the beginning of 94' as the full time lead vocalist. What made me quit pretty much with him was I wanted to do nothing but original tunes, he wanted to continue as a cover band. I didn't see any prosparity doing covers anymore. So I left the band and returned to America.

Any rate, If I'm in Dallas, I'll let you know.

All the best

Where are you now? :)

Dude, that's sweet! Hey, come to Dallas and we'll hit up some Karaoke club or take over someone else's stage. I do have a question, though -- when you were singing back then, did you get a discount on sushi, and was there an endless supply? Singers sometimes get perks on such things...

Your little Arnel is great! No I didn't get a discount on sushi, maybe if I were to have been famous.....but then again, back then I had my girl with me pretty much all the time and at most the shows. So I had my supply with me at all times and that's all I needed to be as happy as a clam. I know her's was.

I'm in Journey's home town.
I've never eaten a piece of sushi I didn't thoroughly enjoy.
