There's a 65% chance of him dry humping your leg at a show, too.

He pointedly said, "no way. that sound is too dated."
Wonder what Rolie thinks about that.

0.000000001%
And that math was done after I had 20 shots. So the true math is the opposite: 99.9999999999%![]()

Leslie?? Crap! I thought that was a table for my drink!
Um, why can Rollie not do a Guest spot on the album? A little late now, but the next one.

I did it to many times {in my 20s and 30s} I used a Farfisa through my Leslie {you could fart in a Leslie and it would sound good} Still luggin that speaker up the steps would kill my ass, although I still miss it at times. I have a Yamaha Motif, with some nice Hammond sounds, and I use a pedal for the on and off switch to simulate the fast and slow control for the Leslie .It sounds really goodbrywool wrote:stevew2 wrote:I sold mine, it broke my heart, I a place in it I could hide my booze.I got $500,00 for it. I remember playing a ski lodge with my old keyboard player. Monster organ player (yeah, yeah, pipe down) and the lodge didn't have an elevator and we were on the second floor. We had to hork this thing up the steepest, narrowest staircase in the cold. Holy crap! Can't beat the sound of the Hammond with a Leslie.

I got the Motif 7 {the first one} I traded it 2 weeks after I bought the Motif 8{88 keys} after I dropped the fucker at 3:00 am cause it weighed 120 pounds with the case, and I was drunk. ive heard the new Moifs are really different. I bought cause i liked the piano and organ sounds. I dont even use all the other stuff it can doG.I.Jim wrote:stevew2 wrote:I did it to many times {in my 20s and 30s} I used a Farfisa through my Leslie {you could fart in a Leslie and it would sound good} Still luggin that speaker up the steps would kill my ass, although I still miss it at times. Great to see another keyboardist on here! What version of Motif do you play? I play a Motif ES6, and a Motif XS8! I also play a Korg Karma (strictly for lead guitars and some pads). Never messed with a leslie, although I'm sure I will someday!
