Cleveland has lousy sports teams and lousy fans - remember the Indians used to draw about 650 fans a game before they moved. Real fans don't abandon their teams because they're not winning.
The Celtics were lousy for all but a few of the past 15 years, and they have been sold out since the late 60's.

I respect Cleveland as a football town, ONLY! They NEVER deserved to have the Browns be re-located to Baltimore, because the fans of Cleveland ALWAYS supported the Browns! That said, I couldn't agree with your assessment more when it comes to Cleveland as a sports city. It's a second class sports city, at best, and will NEVER compete with the real sports cities of America! Give it 5 minutes before Lake Erie Boy is in here babbling about minor league soccer championships from 10 years ago, and how "charitable" Cleveland is (even though Boston outranks them there, too)!![]()

Dude, get your head out of your ass and do some real research! Cleveland is a far more charitable city than Boston, that's a proven fact.
Out of MLB, NFL and NBA the only advantage for fandom that Boston might have over Cleveland is in the NBA.

As much as I hate Boston, if the US had to flush a city down the toilet, Boston wouldn't be it, Cleveland would be though. Shit city, shit people and a shitty RnR HOF. Boston is beautiful, Cleveland is a place to park your motorhome and get a rusty trombone.
How does it feel being Cincinnati's bitch?

Who gives a fuck? You are a classic example of why Cleveland sucks, as a sports town! You're in here bragging about what your teams did during the regular season. Real sports fans know that the regular season means absolutely NOTHING! Let me ask you something, Lake Erie Boy...How many championship banners did that "title town" city of yours hang in the vaunted year that was 2007
Journey/Survivor wrote: All 3 of Cleveland's major sports teams are serious championship contenders right now.
Sure they are! What the hell are you smoking? You have C.C. Sa Fat boy with a 1-4 record and an ERA of almost 8. You have Fausto Carmona who has twice as many walks as he has strikeouts. You have that stiff Travis Hafner who is hitting all of .210, and isn't worth half the money they gave him. As far as your Browns...you better concentrate on actually getting into the playoffs as a Wildcard team before you come in here boasting about your team being a "championship contender"!Journey/Survivor wrote: Cleveland Browns fans are literally the best in all of the NFL, and that's not my opinion, it's FACT.
What a moronic comment! A fact based on what??? "Best" at what? Give me a break with all this gay shit about your fans being "the best"!Journey/Survivor wrote: Indians fans are at least in the top 3 in MLB.
Once again, you prove what a jackass you are! I'm old enough to remember the crowds (and I use that term VERY loosely) at the old Municipal Stadium! You talk about what a shithole Fenway is (which is RIDICULOUS), but at least we support our team, and don't need some posh digs with fucking Gray Poupon mustard to attract fans to support our team! Cleveland is not fucking close to being a top 3 major league baseball city, and NEVER, EVER, EVER will be! As long as cities like Boston, Chicago (Cubs, specifically), New York, and St. Louis exist, Cleveland will NEVER be ahead of ANY of those cities when it comes to being a baseball city!Journey/Survivor wrote: And Cavs fans are at least in the top 10 in the NBA.
Again, based on what??? Before fucking LeBron James got there, most people in Cleveland didn't know they had a basketball team! Don't give me this shit that because LeBron is there that Cleveland is now a world class NBA city, because it isn't, NEVER has been, and NEVER will be! You do realize that most basketball people have referred to your NBA team as the "Cadeavers" (dead people, in the event you dictionary isn't nearby), for most of their existence, right?Journey/Survivor wrote: The Indians were never drawing crowds in the hundreds, it was always in the thousands. Dude...you just don't fucking get it! That's precisely the point. Supporting your team, only when they're winning, doesn't make you a world class sports city. And don't tell me about fucking cold! I've sat at Fenway Park on FRIGID April nights with a 40 mph wind whipping across Boston Harbor, and there were not many empty seats around me! Also, do yourself a favor and don't brag about 6,000 people showing up for a major league baseball game, on a "school night", because you sound like a dope! You do realize that in real baseball cities, there are 30+ thousand there on weeknights, right?Journey/Survivor wrote: By the way, last October when the Indians and Red Sox were playing in the Playoffs, Boston news reporters were saying that Indians fans were supporting them better than Red Sox fans were in Boston. Your an idiot! I can assure you that there wasn't a single Boston news reporter stupid enough to go on tv and talk about the Red Sox fans not being "supportive". Like Red Sox fans or not, their support for their team is LEGENDARY! I can assure you that there aren't many cities in America (let alone the 6th largest media market in the U.S., which Boston is) that lead the local news with a story in February about the Red Sox equipment truck departing Fenway and heading down to Florida for Spring Training! You can hate on Boston all you want, but at least make it sound like to have two brain cells connected!

Listen fuckwad...If you're going to come in here and pontificate about your wretched city charitable giving, at least be accurate, you putz! Here is the latest 2007 list, scoring major American cities for their charitable contributions. Even with my meager public school education, I'm acutely aware of the fact that 13 outranks 16!

I can assure you that there isn't a person outside of Cleveland (and not many in Cleveland) who would EVER claim Indians fans are a more passionate group than Red Sox fans. That's beyond laughable!
