Rik Emmett has a one of a kind, fantastic tone to his voice. Love Triumph.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Yeah, it's not at all similar to Geddy Lee's or anything.

They're similar, but Emmett's voice is much smoother and enjoyable than Lee's. I like Rush, but sometimes Geddy's voice is very shrieky.

I don't think Geddy Lee and Rik Emmett sound the least bit similar.

Neither do I. Always liked Rik's.....have never liked Geddy's. :?

Gil had a pretty good voice too. I put this in another thread, although I prefer EM's vocals on it, here is one that was written by Eric Martin and Neal Schon. Just One Night http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVtsKuj22vQ

Loved Triumph's concerts back in the day, will definitely go to another if/when they reunite.

Incredibly underated band. I've seen them countless times over the years - I live in Baton Rouge - and they always deliver...

I've seen them a few times. Randy Jackson is so underrated as a singer and a guitarist.

Remember this song? I didn't know there was a video for it til just now.

Definitely - 3.V is actually my favorite release of theirs. Love every song on it...

Randy plays about as many acoustic shows as he does with Zebra. His voice hasn't lost a bit of range or power...

I love every Zebra album. Do you have the live DVD? Incredible. Randy Jackson (different one, Prog - why isn't youtube working for you?) is one of the most talented musicians I have ever seen. And an amazing songwriter.
