Good man.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

I just discovered how good they are. Haven't had them in a long time. Now my kids are eating them all the time too! Gotta watch it though, calories are high if you eat too many.

Man -vs- Wild is a good show, but I like 'Survivorman' better.

On MVW, Bear has a support crew with him that does the majority of the filming and occaisionally they spend nights in hostels etc...and NOT in the wild.

Survivorman is out on his own. He has to lug around 3 cameras and his pack can weigh upwards of 80 lbs. If any of you have done ANY backpacking, you'll know that much over 30-40 pounds gets EXTREMELY heavy after a couple of miles. There have been times when he simply was not going to make it and had to radio for help. They show that part of the week to demonstrate that even Survivorman can fail at times.

I tried Survivorman..I just don't like the guy as much as Bear..I don't dislike him..I just like Bear better..

Really is you control the other fats..nuts are fantastic and a great fat..especially sunflower seeds, almonds, pumpkin seeds and walnuts..walnuts are great for the omega-3..but they are higher acid on the ph list..

Most of my fat comes from nuts..I also use almond butter..all natural..instead of peanut butter..i don't do well with peanuts..almond butter..all natural..rocks!
I also get some fat from avacados..yes..they are high in fat..but again..if one isn't eating bad fats..it's all good..
I also cook a lot with pure organic all nutural 100% coconut oil..very good for us..yes..high in saturated fat..but the good kind..the body processes it differently than bad saturated fat..

Anyway..if you are eating right..nuts can be a fantastic add to the diet..a good fat..great source of protein and good nutrients..such as the magnesium in the pumpkin seeds..just be careful that they are all natural..and not to salted..
A lot of times I will make a breakfast cereal of different nuts..
