Where the hell is everyone? :?

Wherever they are, I get the feeling they are not watching the NHL....oh well.

I was boob tube bound watching The Wings puck up!
Man it feels good to have one of my teams on the winning end of the Stanley stick.

I am so pumped for tonight's Flyers/Penguins game.
Come on 7:30pm!

Sorry to see about Timonen Philly fans, that's a tough one to take in the playoffs.

Timmonen will be a tough loss.. but they still have the Gator!!

Not sure who to really cheer for anymore..

There are Ex Oilers on both the Flyers, Stars, and Pens..

I would like to see Big George and Ty Conklin get their cup, same with Brad Winchester and Toby Peterson for the Stars.

This also could be Jason Smith's last real shot at the Cup as well. Joffrey and Thor had to put up with the brutal slide that the Oil had last season. I'm glad that Joffrey's cleaned up his off ice antics and his play has improved. Thor, well if he's not renewed by the Flyers, I'm sure he'll be off to Europe.

It will definately be an interesting off season!

Thoresen and Lupul have contributed mightily to the Flyers rise from the depths. We are going to miss Timonen terribly though. The guy does everything well.

We’ll see if the rest of the guys can step up.

Exciting??? Penguins in 5. The Flyers slow-footed D is no match for the speed Pittsburgh brings and Biron can't carry these guys forever.

Wow, Pen's are scoring at will almost. What's wrong with old blue eyes?

Just sayin....

You couldn't be further removed from the truth. Cole is a die hard Maple Leaf supporter through and through. Always has been (he works almost exclusively on Leafs games for the CBC). The pro-Leafs CBC prides itself on hating the Habs, the province of Quebec, and French Canadians in general. For example, they'll show Leafs' early (7 pm est) games Saturday on Hockey Night In Canada well over 50% of the time when they have the option to show Habs or Sens games as well, EVEN ON the Montreal TV affiliate where the game should not be blacked-out because the Habs sell out every game.

Delayed reaction, eh?

Well, if you listened to the broadcast from that night, you could hear the heightened excitement when Montreal scored and the utter disappointment in his voice when the Flyers scored. It was so obvious.

I don’t know, nor do I care what his affiliation is. He needs to retire.

Boy I wish you were right, but the Pens seem to have another gear that the other teams lack. Some serious talent.

I can definitely see multiple Cups in Pittsburgh's future. Hopefully not this year, though.

The Flyers need about 8 more teams to join them to even match the power Pittsburgh has over them. I don't see this series going past 5.

Congrats Penguin fans.

Sorry Moose and JoePa for the loss, I was rooting for the Flyers last night.
Hope it gets easier for em to score in the second game.

I'll stick to what I've said all along...Penguins over the Redwings in the Finals. Pittsburgh is the best team in the NHL.

We will see, but the Flyers probably played their worst game of the post season last night. I expect them to rebound Sunday. If they can crash the net and cause havoc in front of Fleury, they can win.

The better team won again tonight. This will be over in 5.

What I am smelling this morning are the cheesesteaks my cousins are going have to buy me when I am down in Philly this summer!

The bet was all the cheesesteaks I could eat, with the beer to wash them down, if the Pens win the series...Mmmmmm fresh and hot Geno's Cheesesteaks! Nothing finer!

The Fat Lady is already yodelling and doing scales for the Flyers.

You get short-handed tally with 19 seconds left in a period, that usually is a momentum booster that lasts the rest of the game and the Flyers STILL lost.

Crosby gets jammed out of a goal and doesn't even bitch about it...NO confidence crisis at all on the Pitt side.

Braydon Coburn took a hard one to the mug, over 40 stitches.
My heart sunk for Philly after that.
Hope he returns for game 3.
