All those you mention are very good actors, I agree. On this side of the Atlantic we have, off the top of my head... Ben Kingsley, John Mills, Michael Caine, Richard Attenborough, Richard Burton, Robert Shaw, Jeremy Irons, Daniel Day Lewis, Laurence Olivier, all of worldwide acclaim for actually acting, not running around in shoot 'em ups.

Fair enough! - Funnily i'm not too keen on The Stones..... - some great songs admittedly - but shoulda packed it in years ago! Never understood fuss about the eatles either tho - so that probably makes me in a small minority!

Funny post indeed. As an American with a English wife and two half english kids, I'd like be serious for a second , both sides can give each other such a hard time because beneath it all both countries get along so well and probably always will.
