High five, dude. Who do you want to face on Western Conference finals? I want the Spurs, to make it more dramatic, IMO.

Spurs!! The Hornets uniforms hurt my eyes  Seriously, Lakers - Spurs would be a fun series.

SPURS better look like they do at HOME, if they are going to pull this off!!!
The high school team they've been sending to NO is not going to win it
for them....I'm hoping to see the SPURS for game 7!!!

Fouls were pretty even this game, but unfortunately the Refs run this league!! :?

I agree!!! Unfortunately, the calls can change the whole rhythm of the game.
Especially when the teams are SO CLOSE in talent!!
There was a bad call in the CAVS/CELTS game that blew me
away!!!

Who do the PISTONS want to face????
They'd LOVE to have another shot at LeBron and CO.!!
ESPECIALLY w/BIG BEN on the team!!
BUT, they also want a shot at the #1 ranked TEAM in the EAST!!

As far as the HOME COURT advantage nonsense.....it DOES NOT
hold true for my beloved PISTONS!! Yeah, they can win on the road,
but they are also known to lose at home!!!
Flip is also well known for throwing a high school team
on the court occasionally!!

Yep, and the Celtics have been in 29 of the 99 (counting today's game), and are an astonishing 28-0 in game 7's! I can only hope that history is on their side. Somehow, I always felt MUCH better about their chances when Larry Bird was on the floor!

Make that 29-0 in game 7! Remarkable performance by both James and Pierce. LeBron DEFINITELY showed up to play, today! If he played like that in the rest of the series, the Celtics would have lost in 5!

Until the last 2 minutes!!! An airball and 1-2 from the free throw line. He always looks confused late in games. Solid 46 minutes, though.

Not too bad for "cadavers."

Especially seeing as their best player was having back spasms throughout the series, one of their next best players could not play in game 7, and their opponent had home court advantage in game 7.

All that, and yet the "cadavers" almost pulled it out.

Dude...you whine more than LeBron (if that's even possible)!

Stop making excuses...It's fucking embarrassing! You didn't see me in here making excuses after the Patriots got beat in the Super Bowl! I congratulated Giants fans, and moved on!

Journey/Survivor wrote:and their opponent had home court advantage in game 7.

Right, and "their opponent" EARNED home court advantage in game 7! Boston had the best record in the NBA during the regular season. That entitles them to home court advantage! That's how it works, genius!

Journey/Survivor wrote: All that, and yet the "cadavers" almost pulled it out.

Right..."almost" doesn't count! They "almost" got out of the second round of the playoffs! Big deal! Go pull C.C. away from the buffet table and give Hafner some HGH to wake that bat up

p.s. See you in the fall, Lake Erie Boy, when your Indians "almost" advance to the playoffs!

I didn't make any excuses. To say that LeBron whines is insane, he gets the shit beat out of him every single game and yet says very little.

Seriously, until you stop showing what a dumb-fuck you are I'm done arguing with you. I'm gonna stop lowering myself to your level. If I'm smart this will be the last time I ever respond to one of your moronic posts.

So it'sgoing to be the Lakers, Celtics, Pistons, and Spurs.

Those teams have accounted for 9 of the past 10 NBA titles and 17 of the past 29.
But around town, it was well known...when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of their lives!

Journey/Survivor......I LOVE the Cavs, love LBJ, love all Cleveland sports......BUT......having said that, I do think LBJ whines a bit much. The other thing he does that absolutely drives me crazy is that every single time he goes down he has to lay there and take a minute or so to get up. Now I will grant you that he takes some hard hits but there is no way that every single time he needs to lay there. It's like he wants all of Cleveland to gasp and say "oh no....LBJ is hurt." During one of the games (I think it was against the Celtics....and I think maybe it was KG), he took a hard foul, hit the floor, and hopped right back up and was LAUGHING!! Now THAT's how to take a foul!!! Another person that strikes me as a big whiner is Tim Duncan. I swear....he thinks that he never commits a foul!!

Now for the final 4. If I can't have someone to cheer for.....I like to cheer against someone I don't like. (that is why I was cheering for NO.....I am still bitter at the Spurs sweeping us in the Finals last year so I don't like them). I guess I 'don't like Kobe' less than I don't like the Spurs. So I will say Go Lakers!!

Pistons and Celtics?? I would say Go Celtics just because I liked how they played the Cavs and it seems they play with alot of class and I like that. BUT.....Michigan Girl, you seem like a cool chick. So I won't cheer against your team. Although it is an automatic thing for me to cheer against all things Michigan!! So I will just say good luck to both teams!!

Finally, a realistic and honest sports fan! I will forever respect you as a sports fan, for actually admitting what EVERYONE in the NBA knows! LeBron's reputation for being a whiny baby is VERY well known, throughout the NBA. As I've said before, I think the guy is destined for greatness. He's an immense talent, who will have a superb career! That said, he's not Jordan...He'll NEVER be Jordan...and desperately needs to work on the shooting percentage. He also needs to comport himself (i.e. stop the dramatic acting) like more of a professional, on the floor, during games!

Being a fan of any team is a GREAT thing. Being completely blinded by your fandom and thinking nobody who plays in your city can ever do anything wrong is simply ridiculous! Just tell Lake Erie Boy that you think Jimi Jamison is the greatest singer to ever walk the planet, and he'll be smiling for the next year

Well MG...You're right about the media. NOBODY is giving the Celtics a shot against Detroit (including the Boston media). Having said that, I also give Detroit the edge in this series. Based on their respective regular season records, and their head to head matchups during the season, I don't believe the Pistons are the better team. I just think Detroit is FAR more rested. The Celtics are mentally exhausted, after going to game 7 in two straight series. Also, the fact that the Celtics have proven that they can't win a single road game in the playoffs, tells me they are in trouble! Pistons win it in 6!

I've long said the same thing about Tim Duncan. Dude gets the wide eyes every time a foul is called on him.

Problem is...the Celtics know this too and they are READY for it!!! Detroit LOVES to be the underdog...they LOVE when the Media has ZERO confidence in them....Paul Pierce has been waiting for this moment!! Boston/Pistons 3-1 in the regular season, Celtics unbeaten at home in the post season. The Celtics were tired going into this series w/Cleveland, a team that beat the #1 seed last season!!! They are FIRED UP!!! I don't think it's said and done....it'll be a war!!!
