I swear, since the early 90's when they hit the scene,
I have been deployed EVERY FUCKING TIME they have
come to a venue near by!!!

I know most of you here think Vedder is a terrible "Singer" but, to me,
Vedder ISN'T a "Singer"...
He's a "Storyteller". Big Difference.

and, of all of them, Metallica on that tour was INCREDIBLE!
Dokken was probably the worst since the friction between Dokken
and Lynch was carrying over to the stage and Don looked
like a bloated stuck pig in his spandex

i fell asleep on the 3rd row of a Peral Jam concert.. it was in 2000 i think,, where they recorded each town live and sold the cd's..

you know those 20 min. naps that just feel great.. i got one of those.. i walked to the back and gave my ticket to somebody jamming out in the very very back .. then hooked up with a hot lawyer chick dressed in black leather ...

ok the last part didnt happen..

they opend up for KISS on the Crazy Nights tour.. AND they were great.. Pride was a great album for its time.. not so much 20 years later.. but then it was lots of fun.. Vito played a solo and Tramp introduced him as New Yorks answer to SRV.. he played very cool...

Vito was a fuckin machine back then. Bratta was arguably the best guitarist on the planet at that time (Schon was spanking the monkey then). The guy was WAY under rated and was a unique player that could hammer speed and technique as fast as anyone while also being able to play the soulful solos as well.

Larry, what do you think? You're a connoisseur of guitarists and a player. Talk to me brother.

ive seem just about everybody who came out bewteen 75/90 except for the eagles, and the who
so i guess they would be on my list.
things i would like to see and could but wont happen
gregg rolie hook up with alex ligertwood and do some journey stuff along with santana.
vince gill have pur prarie league open for him and sit in for a reunion.
as for white lion, i agree vito was good, but i saw them open for cinderella and acdc about 6 times and didnt think much of mike tramps preformance.

Trust me...you're not missing anything. I surprised by now ex boyfriend(who was a DIE HARD fan)a couple years ago with tix for his birthday and even HE was disappointed. I think they played two songs anyone knew. Saw them open for Tom Petty two years ago and while it was better and they threw more bones to fans who had been with them from the beginning, it was still bad.

This year, Im seing Def leppard, Whitsnake, Journey, and Tyketto, JSS, Tall Stories Valentine and PInk creme 69 (the last five at Firefest.) that will keep me pretty happy this year but the only concert I ABSOLUTELY gotta see is the 2009 Along Came A Spider Tour by Alice Cooper. Apparently the set will be done as a 40's murder mystery radio programme based on the new songs from Along Came a Spider, which is a mystery about a serial kiler. Alice says fans will be playing detective between songs, entertained by the music and intrigued by the story.

The only one I JUST HAVE TO SEE would be SP and that is just a fantasy (well, maybe a miracle will occur). But, for reality...I just watched an old video on VH1 this morning of "America" and thought to myself "hmmm...that guy was rather cute" (Dewey Bunnell), so I looked them up online and see they are playing nearby in Nov., I think I will go. Remember, Dewey was the one that was singing, "Can't fall asleep to a lullabye" and SP walked out on stage? Not that I believe that will ever happen in Nov. lol., but it is one of my fave songs.

Also, saw Sarah Bareilles (spelling) on Regis/Kelly (I rarely, rarely watch them) and I do like her and she said she is touring with both Maroon 5 and Counting Crows! Love both those groups. Man, I wish I had the luxury to go to lots of concerts. I'll try for Journey at the Greek at the end of the summer.
