that's a true statement.

the spurs are not using that as an excuse. everyone is doing that for them. they don't whine. if they suck, they admit it. no whining. they shoulda hit more 3s and rebound their own bricks. once you know that you are off, don't take off like you made it when your percentages are down. the lakers had those offensive rebounds all over the spurs. sigh.

This is SO TRUE!!! He's had a few good bursts throughout these playoffs, but he hasn't been the Ginobli we are
accustomed to....these are not the Spurs we are used to seeing at all!!! Reminds me of another team I know, they are
either on fire or dead, it makes me sad!!
The Lakers are TOO FAST for them. The Spurs would have to
take control of the game and SLOW it down. Same holds true for the Pistons...let the younger,
faster team run the whole night...you lose!!! And like CDL said...without their 3's and OR's, they were SOL!!!

But I have to say, the last few minutes were VERY exciting!!!

Game 5, a VERY important game, at the Garden!!
Will the Pistons show? :? I'm PRAYING they do!!
In fact, I want BOTH teams to bring their A GAME!!!
Let's have a good down to the wire ECC game!!!

Man, the Celtics did their best to piss away that game.
But around town, it was well known...when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of their lives!

looks pretty much a slam dunk deal now unless both LA and BOSTON really stumble and lose the rest of their games it will be an ABC DREAM series of LAKERS CELTICS... SO PREDICTABLE.

As far as the Lakers I agree, But I think The Pistons still have a chance. The next game is in Detroit and I think they will force a game 7

If Detroit push it into Game 7, every Celtics opponents on Eastern Conference playoffs were all played on Game 7 series, which means they will be exhausted on NBA Finals. I'll stick on my initial prediction which I started on this thread, Lakers in 6!

No. How dare you suggest that the NBA would rig it so those 2 teams play each other in the Finals. They would never do that.

Glad to see Mr. Laker (Jerry West) in their award ceremony. I wonder if he's back in the Laker organization.

Well shit......it looks like the Lakers will now have yet another world championship. I REALLY hope I am wrong, but I just can't see the Celtics nor the Pistons beating them. :(
Rock on,

I'm going with a Celts/Lakers final and the Celtics win in 6. It makes me sick to go for a Boston team...but oh well.

Hey 78, just wondering :? ...Why everybody hates the Lakers? Is it only 2 of us Lakers fans here? If they played the Celtics in the Finals, Lakers still the underdog. Oh well, I still like our chances. Lakers in 6...Celebrate championship in L.A. 8) :D

I'm a Lakers fan, though I haven't followed them as closely over the last few years, since they beat the Pacers in the finals (it was great living here in the Indy era at that time... ).
