Neal sounds great, the vocal delivery is weird.

Arnel singing about the backseat of a Chevrolet is, well odd. :?

The begining reminds me of I'll Be There From Hardline.

It doesn't sound like Journey, but feel more modern yet vintage. I like it!

Sallee,

Thanks, I've finally gotten a listen to it. I need to give it a few more spins but here are a few thoughts:

1. Arnel sounds good
2. Song is moody sounding with tension, it needs a key change to give more of a positive feel, I have enough tension at work!
3. For once I like what The Princess is playing, that Hammond B-3 sounds great!
4. Lyrics are a bit corny
5. Neal's guitar is simple and straight forward, I like it

I give it a 6.5 out of 10.

Thanks again,

Aaron

I agree. It's a pretty boring track. Still, happy to have it!

Especially compared to its twin. "Every Generation".

If for no other reason than getting Cain off vocals, I'm glad they found AP.

Moving this up one more time to see if anyone else needs this song.

I do agree that the track is boring, but at least I got to hear Arnel on a professional product than hearing him on You Tube. He does have a good voice. I do wish him all the happiness and best of luck. :D

Wow. Not Journey at all. This could be on almost any band's album...and nobody would care.
Very generic 80's. Kinda glad it didn't make the domestic album.

Yes. Against the consensus I guess. I've been playing it more often than any other new tune.

I think its very well crafted, catchy background vocals. Arnel truly sounds his own man, IMO.

Neal's guitar sound has a different feel to it, and I for one dig the nuances on it. But I won't say which guitarist its sound more of.
