Im getting sick of waiting!.. This is ridiculous.

I want to chime in on all these review threads but I'm trying my very best not to listen to the songs on YouTube etc. :(

It was for the wait (for me). Cool to hear new stuff on a cd.

You could go to the ITunes store and buy it there, YKMW. That's what I did yesterday..even though it'll mean I don't actually own a hard copy of the tremendous artwork ( )...

I heard it on that link which was posted up, so I have had a taster of it.
So I can wait.
If I hadn't heard it I think I would be going crazy with impatience!
I'm not going to listen to the re records, though.
I may not smash that CD with a hammer as I threatened tp before - but I won't play the thing.
I would have liked to see the DVD we aren't getting though.

In my eagerness to hear the new songs I downloaded the entire album by mistake...and all those lousy cover versions started showing up into my computer. I tried to stop them but it was no use. You just can't send them back. Will delete them asap...

Burn them onto a CD, and use it as a coaster for the lid of that red piano you bought on eBay.

I may not smash mine, but I may get a priest to excorcise it.

£15.99 on itunes.

I wouldn't bother with the rerecorded classics or the 'bonus' track.

Still the best thing they've recorded since 'Escape'....

I get the feeling I shouldn't have said that.

Indeed Sir.

The way the Americans tear lumps out of each other over Journey is a great spectator sport...it's like 'Gladiators' with copies of the Perry back catalogue instead of those oversize cotton buds.

Still, it's hard to dismiss the album as anything less than a magnificant opus; sterling tunes, great band and it all topped by a remarkable singer.

I'm genuinely happy for Arnel though.

Roll on the Glasgow gig!!!

Did I really say 'since Escape...'. Oh dear.

With the lid closed and the re records CD on top as a coaster it would look mighty fine.

Even more handsome would be the re records CD melted into the shape of a dish and filled with Sports Mixtures.

Joe Lynn Turner was on that one right? :D

It was bad enough admitting to being a Journey fan when the full blast of the NWOBHM was in full flow....hell I mean it! 'Escape' it is....

Uch it's all nonsense really. I've never seen a band put under the microscope as much as Journey have over the last few years...that includes KISS. Granted, some of it was justifiable, but Jesus wept, I feared for Arnel at times.

It's a crime Kevin Chalfant never got the job first time round, SA is a smashing singer, though not without his limitations, JSS...I've been a big fan of since the Malmsteen days, but lets face it..he was never going to record with them...and he was never going to record this album.

I never thought they'd opt for what we'd call ' a pub' singer, here in Scotland, but they did.

The lad is an amazing talent, truly blessed and he's recorded an amazing album.

Sh*t, I did say 'Escape' didn't I?

We'll keep this amongst ourselves, not a word....

I think it's a crime they didn't offer the utterly legendary Jimi Jamison a load of cash to take the job. He's the only man who could have got within reaching distance of Perry, I reckon....

Matthew, you'd better crop that pic down a tad before Andrew yells at ya.

Check out the carpet! Yikes, that's scary!.

And EME, it's ok, we won't tell anyone what you said if you don't.

He has a smashing voice, I bought the Cobra album after Tommy Vance (Friday Rock Show DJ and legend) played a track from it...not too sure he'd have managed the job though.

Arnel does put in a great shift though..here's hoping the voice lasts on tour!

"oan yersell wee man" as they say in Glasgow.

EWE...have you heard "When Seconds Count" by Survivor? Believe me...Jamison's performance on that album is definitely the sound of a man who could manage.

They should have given the job to a woman! :P
Now that would be a talking point. Can you imagine the 'debates' on here if they did!!!!!!!

[only joking.]

It was used for Limara Body Spray, but the actual tune was a single called "Remember My Name" which is a classic...as is the 'b' side.."Don't Wanna Cry No More". Beggars belief why Heart never recorded it.

Here's another great tune from 'The Monster Club' which her band 'The Night', with also featured Chris Thomson, appeared in...

Best female rawk singer I've heard.
