That album will sell a million in its first week. DAMN. After seeing what Wal-Mart has done for the Eagles, Journey, and REO it will practically hand over the world to AC freakin' DC.

Anyone know offhand if AC/DC, like Journey and Eagles, is managed by Azoff?
I know Loverboy isn't.

So, does AC/DC have to provide a censored CD to sell at Walmart? I know other acts have had to record dual CD's. Edited for Walmart and un-edited for everyone else. Seems like for example, Back in Black could never be sold in Walmart without censorship.

Good point. Boycotts up the wazoo unless AC/DC is doing a double children's album with The Wiggles.

The Wal's going ballistic trying to stay #1 music seller.

5 dollar new cd's anyone?

AC/DC doesn't seem like the typical act that Wally World would go after, but I am sure the band has seen the sales and revenue generated for the other bands, now including Journey if all the numbers are accurate. Certainly, they and everyone else doing the Wal Mart thing are selling more copies then they probably would have without the WM backing.

Don't think they have to. I bought a perfectly good, uncensored version of HIGHWAY TO HELL there just a couple of years ago.
I think the only thing they censor is the F word- not double entendres. :)

That's cool then. After I posted I thought maybe it only applied to obscene words.
