I'd rather they drop Open Arms, Any Way You Want It, and Lights before Escape and ATL.

I'm VERY glad the instrumental made it on, they need a little something like this for ProgRockers everywhere.

They need to drop Lovin, Touchin, Squeezin. Gayest song they ever did. Donnie & Marie would be proud of that song.

NAH, whos cryiing now is... LTS squeezin is BEST JOURNEY LIVE SONG EVER. Besides
STONE IN LOVE... and Dont Stop and Seperate Ways and Lights, and Wheel and AYYWI

LTS is a concert staple. Lots of people would be disappointed if they went to a Journey concert and didn't get to sing the nanas.

I don't typically like the song much but it's pretty decent when they add the extended blues jam/intro to it.

A fan uploaded this video of their concert last night in Madrid. The video quality is bad, but for those who can't wait to see a clearer copy here is the link

Yeah, if you don't mind shitty sound and not actually being able to see anything. I guess some people just want to be there and don't really care about the music that much.

Most are certainly slow and dull enough to be Perry solo songs.

I was on the lawn for AC/DC a few years back and I thought the sound was ok.

Wha??? You still actually have Generations? My went in the garbage after 1 spin.
Sorry, but TBF is a classic Journey release imo, as is ROR.

*sigh*

Thanks apparently to a few of our excitable friends over at the other forum,
that AATY clip from madrid '08 is no longer up.

Urging the deletion of rips and clips from Revelation (CD+DVD), I can understand,
as being protective of Journey's revenue and rights, but concert footage of the new
songs can only PROMOTE sales.

wech
Definitely off it now...

I was in Madrid. It was an amazing show. I didn't expect so much from Arnel but he did do a great job. Faithfully was huge, Keep on running was completely unexpected (Castronovo sang this) and Be good to yourself made me jump 'til i lost my breath.
What i will remember the most about this concert is the fact that people was quiet while Arnel was singing Faithfully, After all these years and Open arms. I guess everybody thought the same as me: "Let's see how he manages to sing this song".

Just goes to show how stupid shows like AI are. AP couldn't qualify to begin with and if he could, the pre-judging would've booted him for the accent. Here he is fronting an international tour to mostly great reviews.

Never trust the machine.

Good point.

I'd like to see them add "What It Takes to Win" or "Where Did I Lose Your Love" instead of that wank fest of Neal's

WDILYL would be a great single.

If there is one song I would be glad to never hear at a journey concert again it's Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin'. Ugggh.

Good to see they played a bunch of the new tunes in Madrid. Like to see them do at least four on the US tour. I could do without the Journey Revelation, but it probably gives Arnel a break in the middle of the show. Not something I'd care to hear live (J Revelation) but we'll see what the US set list looks like when they get back stateside.
It's All Good...
