Since I brought up Lee Ritenour, here are a couple of looks at the man in action, the first with his good friend Steve Lukather:

Answer: David Lee Roth lined up a bunch of his Luxury Cars and had people lay on the horns at the same time; then, they "pitch-bended" it.

How did Roth have luxury cars already? That's their first album. Did he come from a rich family?

Yeah, his family did have money. He comes from a family of doctors. But I don't think the answer is entirely accurate.

From www.classicvanhalen.com:

The car horns at the beginning were taken from the band's own cars and linked them together with a battery. The band used the effect at early live shows, and it was slowed down for the album.

I also seem to remember reading way back in the day that Eddie said all the horns were from their own cars, but they had been removed and mounted together in a box (which could be what they're saying in the sentence above, but I thought I'd clarify it a little).

Question

Eddie VH played on another Warner Bros. artist's albums in the early 1980's. Name her.
Nicollette Larson

Eddie recorded several songs for the soundtrack to a Chris Penn movie in the mid-80's. Name it.
Wild Life

On what Led Zep studio album can you find "Hey, Hey What Can I do?"
That song never appeared on a studio album. It was the B-side to "Immigrant Song." You can find it on the Zep compilations that are out now, but not on one of the studio albums.

The Deep Purple song "Smoke on the Water" is about what event?
A fire destroyed part of the casino entertainment complex where the band was recording (at Lake Geneva in Montreux, Switzerland). They watched from their hotel across the lake as the smoke from the fire spread across the water.

What guitarist is Jimi Hendrix quoted as saying was "his favorite?"
Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top

Q. Which two Van Halen albums went diamond internationally (which means exceeding 10 million album sales) on the same day?

A. "1984" and "Van Halen". It's kind of funny considering that "Van Halen" had no hit singles on the album. You would think that an album with hit singles on it would go diamond, say "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge"? "1984" had four hit singles. "Jump' was the Billboard number one single and "I'll Wait" and "Panama" were put in the top 15. "Hot For Teacher" was a huge success on MTV.
