OT- Moon landing conspiracy???

Postby RedWingFan » Fri Jun 13, 2008 9:07 am

I know we have some conspiracy nuts here. Anyone still believe we didn't land on the moon?
There's a special from 2004 that's been airing on National Geographic Channel that blows conspiracy kooks out of the water. I've seen it a few times.
Here's a link, next airing is Saturday @ 3 EST. :D

What a bunch of idiots.... They've probably seen Capricorn One too many times, which would normally be a good idea -- it's one of my favorite older movies of all time.

Dude! Great film! Starred James Brolin (pre-Streissand... haha!), Elliott Gould, and yes as Gunbot mentioned, The Juice!

The plot was basically, they are astronauts who right before boarding their ship for a flight, they are led away and instructed to fake their broadcasts from a sound stage... Problem is, their ship is either lost or destroyed in space, which brings up serious problem -- how could they have survived the accident, right? It's a great film for its time -- go rent it tonight!

Sweet! Hope they do it justice -- the original was a pretty simple film, so there is no reason to go making a $200-million budget-busting box office bomb out of it.

The "Conspiracy Moon Landing" was filmed in 2004 so they didn't address that wacko question. They pretty much cover everything else though Larry. Check it out.

This topic was discussed briefly a while back and I'll dredge up one of my olds posts here that I'm quite fond of...

Bush and was staged in daddy's back yard, utilizing good ol' Texas sand, a few strategically placed paper machet rocks, and a couple of unemployed bums dressed in hazardous waste outfits. They were paid well for their part and are now living comfortably in Vero Beach as part of an exclusive retirement community.
