Rock Never Stops Tour

What happened to the Rock Never Stops Tour? It was every year from 98 to 05, but didn't happen this year or in 2006. Did rock finally stop or what's the deal?

You have a good point. Did Rock Stop? I've been to a couple of the tours 1999 & 2005 and they where great. Hopefully some one can answer this burning question. If anyone is interested I recently posted Rock Never Stops 2005 set lists on set list thread.

Technically it still exists. Obi Stienman was the guys that got the bands together and put the tours out there. The last two years 2006 and 2007 it was the Poison tour and this year he also put the Cinderella/Warrant/Lynch Mob and Poison/Dokken/Sebastian Bach tours together. My understanding is that Metal Edge magazine was a sponsor of the tours and owned the name Rock Never Stops. They have made a decision to head toward newer acts and dump the older acts and no longer want to sponsor these tours.
