$6-$7 each unit I'd think.

I believe it was closer to $4-$5, Drew.

You'd know wouldn't you...

I said "I believe..." If you know the answer then fucking post it!!!

Well that is the band's business isn't it. I'll PM you the exact amount.

The same time last week the band had sold 45,000 units, so the drop off isn't that big so far. This amount of sales (if continued) would see them chart at #7 next week.

Stay tuned...

Impressive - Lippard slipped to number 30 in week two - maybe journey will let the leps open for them next year...............

I find this tidbit pretty amazing:

"But next week, it'll be all about Lil Wayne. As previously reported on EW.com, his Tha Carter III album is expected to sell in the neighborhood of 850,000 to 950,000 units by the end of the week. In case you think it'll have trouble hitting that mark, do be aware that Soundscan released a first-day total for the album, and it sold 423,000 just on Tuesday. That's pretty close to what the last blockbuster seller, Kanye West's Graduation, sold on its first day last year, before ending the week with 957,000. Could Lil Wayne even claim the first album to surpass the million mark in a week since 50 Cent's The Massacre in 2005? Hold onto your lollipops."

It's nice to see the band having a push and doing well on the charts. I'd love to see this thing go gold.

Question about the Billboard charts. Do the charts count for the total number of sales, or do the charts count for the total number discs in the sales? Just asking because if it counts the 2 discs in there then the band only sold about 53,000 copies of Revelations.

The figure is the total number of sales, regardless of the number of discs...

Thanks I wasn't sure on that. It's an impressive start then for the band.

Man, they really lost their fan base when they hired Arnel. Whatever will they do with shitty sales numbers like this?

So they have dropped to 70,000 in the second week, 35,000 off the first week ,either the album is dropping quickly or this is just a better idea of what the number is minus the strange journey geek fans that go out and buy 10 copies in case they wear out the first 9

Negative Ghost Rider, good try. That's with 46% of the sales figures tallied.

I'm surprised that Disturbed's new album has dropped so far this week.

I'm not familiar with them, but it sure plummeted. From 1 to 6, so far.

I cant seem to figure this thing out, all i saw was the total and the fact that it was updated every 5 minutes on mon/tues

I stand corrected , so potentially the number could be better than last week?

Interesting that Journey's album went up from last week to this week -- from #5 to #4. The others dropped.

Pineda can now go up there and go, "You have made our new album Revelation, NUMBER 4 IN THE NATION!!!!"

Calculation: given 105,000 units sold the first week, if there's a 20% drop-off each week, the album will go gold by September 2.

Somehow I think the numbers will be much better than that, given that there's a concert tour in the U.S. set to begin on July 9th and running through October 5th.
