"Revelation" DVD RIAA question

Postby separate_wayz » Mon Jun 16, 2008 8:32 am

By the RIAA standards, a DVD that sells 100,000 units goes platinum.

Does that mean that the "Revelation" DVD went platinum its first week? It certainly wasn't included in the RIAA totals for certification of the CDs, so wouldn't it get counted separately for purposes of certifying the DVD by itself?

No, Revelation is an audio release, the DVD is simply a bonus disc.
