Don't think it is, though I wish it was. I PM'd Andrew last week asking if he'd heard anything from Augeri, solo or TS related, and he said he hadn't. Unfortunately, knowing that Andrew and many of the site's faithful are very pro-Journey, and there are a fair share of anti-Augeri folks around here, I would not be surprised if Augeri would steer clear of Andrew and this site.

I hope it is JSS! Would be cool to hear a track off the new cd! :D Especially with 2 shows coming up next week! Yaaaaaaaaaa! :D

I leave in 6 days, Deb.... can't wait to finally be able to sit and chat with you and have a drink...South Bend was a whirlwind...
can't wait to see JSS again...

Looking forward to seeing ya again too Carol, and meet the Norminator! See you next Saturday, and after friday's show in San Fran I may just be a babbling idiot, so bear with me. It's not every day a gal gets to hear 2 of her 3 favorite singers on one stage! :D

I'm going to combine a few of your ideas and come up with a most likely answer of:

Steve Augeri......featuring T-Pain!

The way I see it,- now us JSS diehards got our hopes up and are expecting a JSS interview on Monday now.

NOW, If the feature is about someone else, it will kinda be like expecting a new bike on christmas morning and running downstairs at 5 o'clock Christmas morning, looking under the tree and only finding Uncle Alfresco, dead on the floor, shot through the back of the head. Plus no bicycle!!- a dispointing Christmas on many levels. :D :D

hope its not a disappointing Monday AM!!! :D

I only guess this person because I've heard he's been recording his new solo album for quite sometime now and his name just popped into my head. That would be Lou Gramm.

An e-mail from guitarist Jack Morer this morning would suggest otherwise.

Can you possibly imagine that withing a years timeframe there could "possibly" be a new release from Journey, Steve Augeri, JSS, AND "possibly" Steve Perry? What a year that would be. Not to mention last years release by Robert Fleischman.

Saw Al Pitrelli, wife Jane Mangini, and a few other TSO'rs, including Kelly Keeling, here in Little Rock for a jazz/R&B show at a bar. Called themselves O2L (O'Toole) and were really good. Very friendly too, hung out with everyone for beers. Always thought Pitrelli & Schon would be a great duo in a band.

Good call. Those two guys are my favorite guitarists. Pitrelli is a very melodic player, similar to Neal. Love that guy.

Criss Oliva was great, no question about it. I prefer Pitrelli, though.

I'm not a HUGE fan of suprises, but will wait semi-patiently. I didn't vote, but am hoping for Augeri or JSS. 8)

Firefest 2008

Postby Muggins » Mon Jun 23, 2008 3:30 am

I wonder if it's got something to do with Augeri and JSS at FireFest!!! I mean, they are both there together and it would be a great opportunity. Wouldn't you love them to do a duet on a Journey song at that show! The timing is perfect for a big announcement!!!
