No wonder so many musicians knew how to play instruments back then compared to now. Parent's put them on drums, guitars, etc. instead of ritalin.......hmmmm.

i got the opportunity to speak with Deen on the Hardline tour... i had the original Danny Spanos

song that he had never heard.. and he wanted it . .... he told me about listening to Kiss as a youngster and

loving P. Criss until seeing Neil P. ... but he had amazing things to say about Eric Carr... im not sure

if Carr had passed at that time..

but if you look at early Videos of Deen playing .. he looks just like Eric...

i think i have a Cocophony video of Deen... monster drummer.. unreal .. and to sing at the same time..

Didn't notice any pics of Eric aka Pauly.

Sad Pauly died so young
Such a talented real person

Saw the MD interview just last night as I was browsing

Every KISS fan knows this. Eric Carr's real name was Paul Caravello. Except for Bruce Kulick, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer, everyone who has been in that band assumed a stage name.

Wow...Larry

Nah

I was a Journey Fan
A young girl dreamin of someday meeting
Steve Perry

Belonged to the Fan club
Got my newsletters at Hendrix College @ SUNY Stonybrook

I wasn't a big kiss fan
cept for
Christine 16

No one will play that song

Paul was the cousin of a college friend.
He was the one who told me in the early 80's but its public info.

I met him when I was drawn to the drums he was playing in his dorm room
It turned out we grew up a few blocks apart.
Joe was in my wing
I was a MA
He'd played drums
I had a kit in college too
He is the one who first taught me the highhat

I never met Paul but I had a crush on his cousin...Joe

He took the infamous Kiss pic one Halloween Party we had in our dorm building...

I think you remember that pic?

I wanted to play drums when I was a about 10

Mom's brother was a drummer in a school band
She knew a bit from him
She always wanted to play piano
So I got piano lessons

I really wasn't that interested
& never practiced.

I got re interested in drums in college
