the last vince one i bought was feelgood back in '89,well i did buy the '94 without vince and it was pretty good but wasn't accepted by the fans because vince was not on it.i never bought the 97 'alternative crue' generation swine and haven't heard the 2000 'new tattoo' cd either.i think i might buy this one because its the first one with the original lineup since 89.

One spin through and just :| right now.

Mars and Lee are houses ablaze, BUT: 1) I detect, ala NoMoreTails' favorite aspect of ROR, a choir of Vinces in many too many places and
2) Ashba and Michael (who also produced? Hell happened to Bob Rock or even Mike Clink???
I detect a level, because of this, if UN Crueness maybe. I have a theory: I suspect it was a nod
to keep A.D.D. Lee happy ala, "let's get current, hip writers in here for our sound." Personally I like
it when the primary writers are Sixx/Mars.

We'll see if it grows. Bonus dvd is pretty good, got 2 new live cuts including Kickstart and the title track of SOLA (Tremendous rendition).
"I love almost everybody."---Rocky Balboa 1990
"Let's reform this thing.Let's go out and get some guys who want to work and go do it"--Neal Schon February, 2001
"I looked at Neal, and I just saw a guy who really wants his band back"-JCain 2/01

MÖTLEY CRÜE is the featured musical guest on tonight's (Tuesday, June 24) edition of CBS' "The Late Show with David Letterman" airing on at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT. Photos of the performance, which was taped earlier today at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City, can be found on the Wire Image web site.

MÖTLEY CRÜE played its first show in a year Sunday night (June 22) when it headlined the second day of the Heavy MTL festival in front of 22,500 fans at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Fan-filmed video footage of the song "Live Wire" recorded at the Heavy MTL festival can be viewed below (clip uploaded by YouTube user "klimbo666").

MÖTLEY CRÜE's new album, "Saints of Los Angeles", is loosely based on the band's memoir, "The Dirt", which was published in 2001. The CD is the first to feature all four original members of the CRÜE since 1997's "Generation Swine".

"Crüe Fest" will kick off on July 1 in West Palm Beach, Florida, hitting 40 cities before wrapping up in late August.

Man, they are everywhere! Leave it up to The Crue to bring my flavor of rock back into the mainstream -- CRUEFEST was a very smart marketing move to pull new and younger fans into the fold, and it looks like they are doing it right. I'm sure all the labels and management companies are smelling the money, hence all the promotion and appearance. Viva le Crue!!!!
