WOW!!!!!!!

"What do you really think"; It was NEVER played Live.
Or maybe once in a small promotion gig for the relased Of Caught In The Game but I think not...

and

American Heartbeat: Last time if ever it was played was in the Goin' The Distance Tour '82. I heard a rumour that It was played once in 1995 with Bickler as an encore..

So does that mean you like the list? Yes, Heartbeat was played on the '82 tour, along with ....ready for this......"Children of the Night"

The only thing that I saw from '82 LIVe was a small bit (20 secs) of "Feels Like Love" from a T.V. program.
I think at least ONE concert was recorded back in '82 by Scottie Brothers.

I don,t think they done a Full concert back in '82.
I think they were pre-show performers acts for Foreigner , Styx, Reo Speedwagon, Van Halen....

I'm sure somewhere a recording of a concert in '82 was done.

It's REALLY WEIRD that we can find live concerts from '85, '84, 93'-2007' and even a rare '78'!!
We cannot find a '82!!! THE year they were the must popular...

really strange...

This is actually a trick question, because since there are no gigs, there cannot be a set list.
But around town, it was well known...when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of their lives!

That is a pretty good setlist. Only thing that has me wondering is the lead up to the encore. Weird to have the last song be one they haven't played in 25 years.

Why is it they hardly ever play Burning Heart? That song has instant recognition. That to me would be a better last song than American Heartbeat.

Eye gimme a break they're are vieled shots at Sullivan in there. You just can't control yourself can you. They do have pills for that I think.

actually it's a jab at McSurvivor sounding like quite riot you moron.

Nothing about Frankie, but if it makes you feel better to come to the dramatic resue of your hero boy Frankie, then by all means.

And unless they have a pill that makes me over look ignorance, it's unlikely much can help with you.

Oh hear we go with the yucks. LOL. Don't forget to pat eye on the back on the way out the door red. You guys are such hypocrites. Eye your opinon is just that about Mcauley. That's it. I know plenty of peole who hated Dave's voice. I'm not one of them. Tell me Red and Eye what purpose does it Survivor to repeatedly tell everyone Mcauley sucks? It's simply just to attack Sullivan and the Survivor entity plain and simple. So yeah it's an attack. And a juvenile one at that. Damn do you guys have any originality left?

All call for originality from Slander...now that is amusing...

Yes, i'm of the opinion that McAuley singing Survivor songs is awful...as are a lot of other people...and if there was any doubt, they went on in front of (as you say) 20 million people and proved it...

The difference in you and I my man, I don't care what anyone thought of Dave's voice. I like it. So what. And i don't need to go on a crusade to change people's outlook or provide a unique balance to the force as you do.

"The Survivor entity."
:|
The survivor entity?? :?

Whatever.

Look dude, there are plenty Eye and differ on.

He's more a Dave guy, I'm more a Jamison guy though I dig BOTH eras.

He thinks McCauley's a disgrace to the lead singer position in this band, I'm really indifferent to that just wish they would record and release.

I don't even KNOW Axecrew's vocalist preference.

But we're all (like you) HUGE fans of the band. Where we differ is the 3 of us see the common denominater under the disapointments and underachieving (especially since late '88) of this band as franklin.

For whatever reason, you resent that and deflect EVERYthing into some weird obsession with taking Jamison down (but then when asked what your Jamison issue is, revert right into "I like Jimi, I never bash" mode), even though EyeOf clearly says he could take or leave JJ.

Who's crusading? This is the first post I can remember mentioning Robin. All I'm saying is this seems like a continues effort on your part and others on the board to destroy the Survivor entity. Actually it doesn't seem like an effort, it is an effort!

Your crusade is about your man crush on Sullivan moron.

What the hell is the Survivor entity? I would maintain what went down with JP, JJ and DB has a hell of a lot more to do with the 'survivor entity' than McSullivan.

I make no bones about some of the issues like his classless tirade to a journalist. That doesn't mean that overall the guy is a good singer and seems to be an overall decent dude. My issues is that everyone in a BAND bears some responsibility for it's ups and downs. No one will really no exactly what happened. And you know what? The parties involved may not be able to truly pin point what went wrong. In the mean time, how difficult is it to support everyone past and present involved with Survivor? I do! I can only determine from your words and actions that yourself, eye, and Red are no longer fans and will do everything possible to see that the band's current form is a failure.

Really Slander, i don't think our little trio has to work to make Survivor fail. FS will do that all on his own, with very little help from us.

Oh here we go Eye. More yucks! I am objective. Please let me know when you criticize JP or JJ about anything? I have been critical of Sullivan repeatedly. I am however not going to tear into a man I don't know personally.

Are you joking? Sullivan co-wrote the songs and supplied the essential guitar work to the sound of the band!

Funny thing is Slander, eveyone on this board used to think you were Grove. Of course now that he's seen the true side of FS, i hear he can't stand him either. Funny how that happens with EVERYONE that knows the man.

FS is a great success. His hard work has kept the band going. Plain and simple. He works with other artists. And you know what he has earned the right to do other things because he has been so successful. But thank you for finally admitting your bull**** agenda.

Liar.
You joined up here the day of the Survivor/Jamison split was announced and gloated and mocked Jamison and his fans. It did not take until the interview that ran last year for you to go at Jamison.
It's not THAT that I mind, either. I let PLENTLY of Jamison blasts and jokes go here (unlike you who, er, "doesn't bash" every time a sullivan charge is levied).
My issue is you can't and won't admit that Jamison's your Survivor enemy #1 (and back it up with beefs).
You blast and then say you're not blasting and have no issues and like everybody.

I've got NO problem admitting the trademark owner is my culprit #1 behind the glacial movings of Survivor since '88 and have often citied examples of why.

First of all JJ is not an enemy. I like the guy. Secondly I like his solo stuff. I've seen him solo! So spare me. Yes I have joked about JJ. I have also joked about Sullivan! You guys just don't aknowledge it.
