Man, you picked the only song on that CD I'm not crazy about. :x

Soul Searching, First Love, Don't Jump the Gun... take your pick. Time to post the samples link for that CD again:

Yeah, great song. You a Shy fan, Duncan? I was pissed Tony Mills left the band. Did they break up?

They are one of those bands whose CD's I will always buy, but i'm not sure if they have split or not. For me Tony Mills is a singer who can be brilliant on one track and terrible on another. I think he sings too high sometimes.

I don't know if you have ever heard their debut album, Once Bitten Twice shy? This has one of the worst productions on any record, but despite that the sheer quality of the songs still comes through. Tony sings in a slightly lower register and to me he sounds so much better. I have always thought that they should re-record that album.

'Lonestar - Amazed'

Got Journey written all over it. Just take the twang out and kick it up a notch.

Never seen that clip before - great stuff - thank you for posting - not got a clue what she says tho. There used to be a radio quiz here where they played a bit of edge of seventeen every week and the quiz was called "What the hell is Stevie singing"? It was very witty....

Wow. That's a great song. Haven't heard it in awhile. Thanks for the memory.

Always wanted Journey to cover Fogelberg's 'Power of Gold', and Nicolette Larson's 'Lotta Love', trading the sax for NS' guitar and the flute for Cain's piano/keys.

Hey!! I just found a horrid cheesy version of this in Karaoke on iTunes. I'll sing it and then post it. You'll hear the Journey similarity a little more closely then!

Looking forward to that. I just listened to it. The bass in the verse does have a touch of "Girl Can't Help it" about it.

It's in the "OT | For NIG Marys Prayer" thread.
