the rapist must be castrated and then serve 10 years in the worst prison in the country.after going through castration and serving those ten years they should then give the rapist a choice of lethal injection or death by firing squad in which any member of the victims family gets to fire the gun that puts the rapist to death.

Well if we didn't give the fuckers 85000 appeals then it wouldn't be...the chemicals used in lethal injection cost about $4...the man hours to push the plunger is insignificant...but we let them linger on death row for decades...

I think he was getting at cutting the appeals and killing them. $4 plus federal or state wage to push the plunger is even cheaper.

I don't know. I'm torn on this issue. Believe me, I'm a believer in the death penalty, but I can also see how the threat of death might drive the perp to kill and try to hide the evidence. What I don't agree with are people who say that kids who are sexually assualted are ruined forever. They most certainly are not, and neither are their families. What I think would help child victims more than anything is for more parents to push for charges. Even if that means a kid has to testify. I have never understood the logic well, lets protect the child by not making them testify. Meanwhile, years after the fact they are left to wonder why someone didn't care enough to fight for them and allow scum to walk and perp again.

From what I gather, it seems the court is just following the precedent of there not having been a US execution for anything less than murder in the past 40 years.
