There is absolutely nothing Perry could have done to Journey that would compare to what Schon and Cain did during Augeri's tenure. Nothing. Nada. Zippo. Case closed.

Categorically incorrect. Journey's catalog sales exploded while they continued to tour with Augeri. Just look at the numbers. A LOT of positives came out of the Augeri years (Did I just say that? )...save album sales. And I'm certainly not going to let one lipped tour overshadow Perry shelving the band, pimping Journey out for Street Talk/Motown tunes and destroying the Chalfant/Rolie lineup. Firing Herbie wasn't exactly classy either.

You said it! I saw it!!! Somebody call Luvsaugeri!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She needs to see this!!!

with arnel and journey we have seen a hot album that has hovered around the top ten and sold pretty well so far and with the band enjoying some rise in popularity and a rebirth with a new singer the public seems to like and a tour thats doing pretty well so the answer at this point would be very doubtful.

I think we're barking up the wrong tree for the HOF. What we should do is petition the Italian American Hall of Fame (actually it didn't look to impressive). How about they Italian American Sports Hall of Fame (that looks better). It could in regards to DSB during the White Sox championship. It probably would've been better when Augeri was in the band. We had Augeri, Castronovo, Cain (Friga (for this purpose only)), and Schon. Even Neal told me back in '98, "things are starting to get a little greasy around here." What's everybody think?

WTH??? I am an Italian American - could you please explain to me what you were saying????

Ya know, regardless of whats been said I believe the day will come that Perry and Journey reunite. Now whether its a permanent thing or not I doubt, but I believe they have 1 reunion tour in them together. I am really enjoying what Arnel is bringing to the table right now though and if it didnt happen then Journey is in good hands. I am absolutely an Arnel fan and I am not ashamed to admit it. I believe he would gladly step aside and take a break for a Perry reunion. I'll buy the CD's and tickets though regardless.

Anyhow. I'm running a little late... finally got some cable up in this bitch and my exhausted ass crashed in front of the 47 incher. It might be 8:15 for me, but you're always late anyway. :P
