Sounds like you're the one who took offense to the request for prayers to be offered, and this was a bullshit place to do it in.

God and your friends here are all with you.

All will be well. Bless you and your little one, H@wk.
But around town, it was well known...when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of their lives!

I tried not to respond in an undignified manner in this thread (unlike you) You are totally out of order - you need to know me to know what i may think or what something may sound like. Please do not descend any further into that mistake. My mother was a church goer all her life and i never once criticised her or her beliefs - my girlfriend is a member of a church and has never heard a negative word from me either. Do not pre-suppose to think i took offense - if i had, why would i have offered support and told Carlitto i think he is a good guy? Please leave it as this is not the place and i think its really you who brought something unwelcome to this thread - sadly.

You had to use a well-intended reach out post from Carlitto asking for Prayers to TWICE (now 3 times) call attention to the fact that you and not everybody believes in prayers or God.

Newsflash: IT'S NOT ABOUT YOUR BELIEFS OR LACKTHEREOF and THIS was not the right place to basically criticize (and make no mistake THAT is what you did with your posts) people who DO believe, like Carlitto, who asked for the prayers.

People like you just CAN'T help themselves with shit like this.

To Carl, I am sorry if my calling this shithead's use of this sincere thread to tell people how enlightened HE is because he doesn't pray detracted from every OTHER classy well-meaning individual who reached out to you wether they believe in prayer or not.

Wow - what a small minded man you are. I feel sorry for you. IF you read my original post you will see that it serves to tell Carlitto that regardless of what we all believe, we can show concern and feeling for a defenceless child. You, are the only person that seemed to find something offensive in my post. But i think that suggests an agenda on your part as we have crossed swords before. Cheap my friend - is your life really that empty that you had to swing this crap in here? By the way - please show me the part where i suggested i was enlightened?

Please also show me where i made any criticism? You can't because i didnt. You have read what you chose to, into my post.

I also offered an apology in case i offended anyone - but it would appear that nobody else saw anything wrong with my well meant post. You must remember that flavour and meaning do not hold in text like they do in conversation. And as a result you have chosen to flavour it how you choose and certainly not how i intended.

By bringing it up at ALL you put people down.
And of all threads THIS one which had NOTHING to do with your non belief at all.

You could have just done the right thing and posted only the SECOND part of your post, "Well wishes" but you had to throw that caveat in there about "I'm sure even those who don't believe in prayer."

Any other thread and I'd've just ignored that display of pomposity.

I could give a rip if we've crossed swords before or not, but if we HAVE I can see why.

Thats your interpretation, and not a fact - it doesnt bring anyone down - there have been plenty of opportunities on this board to make comments about people's beliefs - but check carefully and you will not find one damn reference to me pooh poohing anyone for religious beliefs.
In the grand scheme of things this nonsense you chose to start is as meaningless as a fart in the wind. So lets leave it. Carlitto knew i meant well and i am thankful his little un is on the mend - THAT is way more important than this petty spat. Lets argue about music - because that is fun and its part of what makes music so enjoyable.

Dude until you can saneley justify and rationalize your own personal frowning upon religion(and I will grant you it was done in a very passive/agressive way on your end allowing you to play the martyr or I guess "the sacrificed" in your whatever the hell you subscribe or don't subscribe to) in THIS thread that was about A LITTLE GIRL, not your personal stances fuck the fuck off.

There are PLENTY of political/politicalreligious threds here to do this in that I don't even partake of. Go spout your rhetoric in those, but not here.

Can you two guys please take your battle to PMs. Your war on words is completely inappropriate to the content and purpose of this particular thread. Start another thread or battle it out privately. There is no need for you to poison a well-meaning thread. This thread is not about YOU, and you are making it so. It is about a sick little girl and two concerned parents.

Hey asshole - if you read the thread properly you will see that Duncan and John from Boston also mentioned their beliefs - so how come only Gordo gets a hard time? Sounds like you are using this purely as an excuse to have a go - its laughable.

F you and F him.
His was the first and only one I saw.

It's over now anyway. Gordon said his piece, as did I it's dead. Hey, I can't TOTALLY hate on a guy who realizes the brilliance of ROR anyway.

The main thing is Carl's daughter seems to be bouncing back.
